Well, Woodward Dream Cruise 2007 is hardly a memory yet, but it's time to starting planning for next year!!! For the first time, this will be a week-long event. I've already got some great things I'm trying to line up and it will be an event you won't want to miss.

The Wingate Inn will, again, be our host hotel for the event. Here is the info for booking your rooms for next year. This is a wonderful hotel and I am sure that you will be very happy with it. Sandy Ritter, Director of Sales, will again be our contact. She has already blocked 60 rooms (which she will increase as necessary) for the Prowler Club and is offering us a great rate which she will honor for the entire week. They are very pleased to be hosting us and will be accommodating us in every way possible. I would suggest that you call now and make your reservations for next year. She is honoring the same rate she offered us this year.

The rate for a King room (which includes a pull-out sofa bed) or a Double Queen room is $84.95/night. The rate for a King Whirlpool suite is $129.95/night. The majority of the rooms are non-smoking with some smoking rooms available. Since she is handling the Prowler Club, you will be forwarded to her. If she is not available, leave a message and she will return your call promptly. Be sure to tell the front desk Operator that you are with the Prowler Club.

The Wingate Inn is easily accessible from the Interstates. There is a wide variety of restaurants (gas stations, etc. It is also located right down the street from DaimlerChrysler Headquarters and the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. There is a Hilton next door which has a full restaurant and bar.

They have a large parking lot which will allow us to all park in the same area (which will be roped off for us). Outside water connection is available for washing cars. There is an indoor pool/jacuzzi, outdoor patio, guest laundry, fitness room, etc. They have a large breakfast room with free hot continental breakfast. There are also eight whirlpool guest suites available for upgrade.

Which was scheduled 1st, the wedding or Woodward? Woodward has been that weekend for a lot of years now. Rich, you'll be retired by then anyway, go ahead and make plans. Save a buck and stay at Ed's halfway house on the way up.

I understand Plymouth Owners Club National Event is there the the week before Woodward. Should be lots of Mopars new and old there.

Was kind off expecting that question. Still in doubt. A candy is still missing

Contacted Bob a couple of weeks ago regarding the friends and family programm of Chrysler to buy a 2008 Viper convertible
but unfortunately is has been taken out of the programm.
So no firm plans yet and you might be able to just concentrate on the cruise this time

Looking forward to see you and Bob (and all others) again this year.
