Thanks to John Davies. We have some new information about the events scheduled for the Tulsarama for June 15th thru the 17th. The unearthing of the 1957 Plymouth will occur at noon on Friday June 15th. However since the car was buried completely wrapped up, apparently it won’t be unveiled until 6:30 PM at the Tulsa Convention Center. Tickets to this event are $5 for upper level and $10 for lower level. These tickets are not yet on sale. I have signed up to be notified when they go on sale. I am also contacting the Tulsa Convention Center next week to get as much preliminary and/or inside information as possible. I am hoping to be able to purchase a block of tickets so we can all sit together. I assume everyone will want the lower level. In hopes to be able purchase a block of tickets to the unveiling of the Plymouth at 6:30 pm. Friday night. I will need a head count for the number of tickets we will require. Also on Saturday and Sunday there are two car shows. The indoor show is limited to cars manufactured 1980 and prior. There is also an open car show. The show will be in located in designated parking lots which are centrally located near the Tulsa Convention Center. Registration for this open car show will be $20.00. I will register our group so we can all park together. For the open car show move in is from 7:00 – 9:00 am. It runs until 3:00 pm. The indoor invitational car show runs from 10:00 am. - 8:00pm. There is also a sock hop in the convention center from 7:00 – 10:30 pm In order to get the best possible seating and also show location parking. I need to this information ASAP.
