I have posted the official and completed Itinerary for the Woodward Dream Cruise which you will find on my thread at this link: Official Itinerary for Woodward Dream Cruise Please notice the change in plans for Thursday. We have decided to take you on a really nice cruise to the City of Port Huron for lunch at the Thomas Edison Inn. You'll be cruisin' through the "million dollar mile" (awesome homes), Michigan countryside and small towns on the way to Port Huron. The City of Port Huron, Maritime Capital of the Great Lakes, clinging to the shore of the St. Clair River at the base of Lake Huron, is an international border crossing marked by the twin spans of the Blue Water Bridge. We will be driving along the St. Clair River up to the Blue Water Bridge (which was constructed in 1938 connecting Port Huron with Sarnia, Canada). At the Blue Water Bridge, we will be enjoying lunch at the Thomas Edison Inn. Next door to the Thomas Edison Inn, you will see a development of condos which were built over the site of Thomas Edison's boyhood home. You will see lots of boat traffic on the St. Clair river from personal watercraft to international shipping freighters. There will be time for photo ops before we return to the hotel. Once there, you can relax, clean up and visit with the other owners. Dinner will be at Big Buck Brewery with Cruisin' on Woodward afterward. Everyone will receive an event booklet which will contain all the information/maps, etc. that you will need for this event. It will be very detailed with times, info and maps, etc. Friday's events include the Go-Kart Championship/Driving. If you don't want to participate in that, you will be provided with information/maps on the Walter P. Chrysler Museum and The Henry Ford Museum and Automotive Hall of Fame. You may also opt to find other activities in the area Thank you so much for your cooperation. Having this information will make the event run more smoothly. I have a lot to do between now and then and your help in this matter is much appreciated. Either post on this thread, email me or send a private message. Can't wait to see you all there....... |

CJ - Tom and I will be attending both the lunch on Thursday and the Dinner on Saturday. Sounds like a really nice cruise on Thursday. Lived here all our lives and Tom and I have only gone to Port Huron via I-94. Really looking forward to something different. Pam |
