Rick, I may not be attending in Lake Geneva. My health has taken a very sudden and unexpected turn. Ill be at loyola on the 20th having bone marrow and liver biopsies. Dpending how sore I am, im not sure if ill be up for driving that far. If i dont make it, Ill look forward to seeing you all soon perhaps on a cruise night. paul |

HERE'S THE DEAL, POPEYE'S WANTS $100.00 PER HOUR TO PARK OUR KATS IN THEIR LOT ( WE WERE THERE 3 HOURS I'M NOT PAYING $300.00 TO PARK), LAST TIME WE WERE THERE WE HAD ABOUT 10 TO 15 PROWLERS WHICH GREW TO 24, THOSE 10 OR SO JUST SHOWED UP AND DIDN'T LET US KNOW THEY WERE COMING. SO INSTEAD I WAS THINKING OF MEETING AT FRATELLO'S IN VOLO ON ROUTE 12 AND ROUTE 60, THEY HAVE A BIG LOT AND IT'S A SANDWICH PLACE,MAYBE IT WOULD BE FUN TO GO TO THE VOLO ANTIQUE AUTO MUSEUM I'M SURE SOME OF YOU HAVE BEEN THERE. WTF that damn Popeys is nutz,last time we were there we tiped the atendant $150.oo or so plus there food is not cheep!We will do whatever everyone wants to do.I can find a place near LG if you want to come up here.Theres a Irish pub on hyw 50 called Foley's I just did the sound and a Plasma in.I can check with them and see if they would like us.We could then cruse back to Volo past Popey's.We can go to Chuck's or Gordy's in Fontana but very poor parking. Theres also skinny's on the lake or there is a 50s drive inn in East troy 15 miles north of lake geneva that would LOVE to have us I can go and talk to the owner.Its called Gusses and every sat nite they do a cruse and draw about 200 cars Sue and I go there all the time.We can meet in lake geneve cruse to east troy and then to Volo? |

If we plan to do Volo ... Rick should call about a group discount ... I think they do offer one. Also, am told there is a purple Kat with trailer there for sale ... not cheap ... might be worth a look. Cruise and Volo tour sounds fine by me .... to heck with Popeye's ... now on the Boycott List! |

OK just returned from Gus's and they said  bring on the Prowlers.Only Rick will have to pay for parking!Nice big lot all black top now this is a 50s drive inn like on happy days its not Popeye's.We will have leftover money for gas when done eating LOL.Now we need all you Ill and WI cats to come with us.Rick see what kinda deal Volo will work out for us.I have 2 vets,2 Mustangs and a srt4 comming with me.They can park in back of the building.We can meet in Lake Geneva anywhere you want to same time 11:30 just post where.I would like to see a bigger turnout from Wi owners so get your Cat outa the bag and lets have some fun. |

it doesn't matter who joins us we will have fun anyway's,if we exit 12 onto 50 at light make right go a few hundred feet and gas station is on the right side of the street, wherever it is i'm sure you'll see us.who are we missing from cheese country the state without a quarterback, geno, mark who else? |

Lets plan a slow drive by Popeye's with the HUGE cat-a-van (plus other rides) so as to make a point of how much money they lost by being greedy! Each one yells out the window cha-ching! as we pass by.  |

For us local folks, Lake Geneva is just an overpriced tourist trap. Gus's in East Troy is widely know for it's fantastic cruise-in Saturdays. Usually it gets really going good late afternoon/early evening. If everybody went for lunch I wouldn't think there would be a parking problem until later. Volo has all the cars for the guys and antiques for the ladies. Sound like a good plan. Bruce |
