Marty, great. Question mark (and the mysterians) removed. CJ, Prowlers are optional and probably doubtful except for Marty and Phil and me unless it is lousy out. I need to get over there and talk to them in the next day or two. There was a blurb in the Sunday paper about the place again. That means there will be an uptick in business. This is the place RAIN MAN was filmed when they dropped the toothpicks and Dustin Hoffman told them how many, etc. The place where he was practicing driving the old Buick is a few miles up the river, across from Coney Island. It was a convent but I do not know what it is now. |

I checked over at Pompilio's today. They do not normally take reservations. He suggested we get there by 5:30. I told him we could be there by 6:15 and he agreed. He said he would put it in the book (why a book if no reservations ?). Can everyone make it by 6:15? I told him 30 people and I would give him a final count a few days before and then call on Sat. to make any last minute changes. Out of towners, please let me know if that is okay with you all. Wildcat, I hope you and Sue can make it. It should be a good time. |
