KY Speedway, on I-71, halfway between Cincinnati and Louisville is having their Drive the Track deal on Sat. Nov. 6th. If the weather is nice, it draws a fairly big crowd. I am not positive I am going, but if the weather is really nice, I probably will. |

Of course I would go if I were not already going to Myrtle Beach that week  Shelley won't let me cancel the trip! Here is a shot from last fall. (I guess it was red car day!!)

Bill, we would be proud to have you in our midst. Let me send you directions. lol. Seriously, it is a little closer to Cincinnati than Louisville. You can cross the Markland Dam which is almost directly above the track. That is near Vevay, upriver about 20 - 25 miles from Madison, IN. That is a scenic way. As we get closer and see what the weather is like, we might set up a lunch meeting place. |

Beside the couple that replied here, I got "maybe" responses from John Buehrle, Gary C in a Neon, and Ken G. I will send out another email to the locals. Maybe that will get a few more responses. I also got a phone call from Andy's buddy Marty M. who is interested. The weather is supposed to be cloudy and 57 according to the current prediction. That could change. Bruce, Mike, Gary C, Marty, Whealey, I will post something late Thursday so you kind of know what is going on. Bale (Blubyu) what about you? We plan on being there sometime between 1:30 and 2 PM. I am meeting Kerry McM and Marty Mercurio at the southbound rest area on I-75, just south of Florence at 1 PM. Anyone that wants to meet at the rest area or at the track is welcome to join us. |

Thanks for showing up, Gary. His Neon is QUICK and looks pretty cool with really nice rims. We only had a couple of Prowlers and about 4 Vipers, Neon, Grand Am, etc. but we got to do about 15 laps. Beautiful day and a lot of fun. |

You all had great weather for the laps around the speedway. I wish I could have been there but my car is still sitting in a dealer's service bay in Wisconsin waiting for the last parts to arrive - hopefully Monday. Glad to hear you were able to get extra laps! |

Marty, One of the pit crew asked me if I got my gas gauge fixed yet. I thought the other guys put him up to it, but he claimed not. They asked about several people by name and took us to the winner's circle again. I hope we can get a huge crowd in the Spring. It was fun. The first timers loved it. |
