All I can say is AWSOME ... as the way to describe 8 Prowlers rounding the corner and coming down my street!! What a GREAT group of people and a SUPER destination for the first, well attended event of the greater Chicago POA. Thanks< Bob for putting this outting together.

Thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday, 9 Prowler's and a good time. After we went to SuperDawg we cruised down Devon to Sheridan Rd and went north to Lake Cook Rd west to Rt 53 south and back to Fixumm's. If you have any pictures you want me to post in the scrapbook http://prowleronline.com/scrapbook/neweventview.php?id=178 just forward them to me and I will add them to the scrapbook. Thanks to Bob for organizing such a great event -- I agree that this was AWESOME. We really enjoyed being a part of this cruise, we had such a great time.......the event and the car ended up being the talk of the birthday party (no one but my parents and sister knew about the Prowler)! It was great meeting all of you, what a bunch of great people. Thanks for sharing all the information about the mod do's and don'ts, and for helping out the "newbie rookie". Look forward to more great times like this. Everyone has pretty much said what I feel. I had a great time and can't wait to get together again. If we can do it again this season, that would be fine with me as long as you all don't force me to keep my top down again. There are still parts of me that haven't defrosted yet, but that's my problem, I guess. ?? If only we had movies of our expedition. It's a lot of fun seeing everyone give a smile and yell something friendly as our caravan of 9 drove by. Even a lady bus driver had to open her window and tell me how much she loved seeing our cars. Thanks Bob and Colleen for leading the pack! |
