Host Hotel Embassy Suites - Dublin Make certain you mention the Prowler Owners Association to get the $99 / night rate (this includes two drinks per person per night during happy hour and a complimentary "cooked to order" breakfast each morning)

Steve, Looks like Sue will have to work on Friday. I thought about driving the truck over and pull trailer then she can come over in the car. Is there room at Hotel for truck & trailer? How long from Mt. Comfort to Dublin? Will there be an empty seat with anyone in a Cat on Friday? ------------------

Plenty of parking at the hotel for trailers. You're welcome to use my PT or ride with me on Friday, whichever you prefer. You should be able to make it from Mt. Comfort to Dublin in two hours and 20 minutes. ------------------ |

OK...What gives??? 24 Prowlers registered in Ohio, 104 registered in neighboring states (PA,WV,KY,IN,MI) and I can't get 10 interested in an event! I know that a few of us just returned from Denver, heck, I haven't unpacked yet. I figured with the 4th being a holiday people could travel on Thursday and Sunday without having to feel rushed. Come on folks! Hot Rod, Wildcat, John Buehrle, and my parents are the only ones who have shown interest. I've got a hotel, tour, and several restaurants on the hook. I don't want to keep these establishments tied up if this event isn't going to happen. If you're interested please speak up! Otherwise I'll be forced to seriously consider cancelling. Steve - Fourth of July weekend is not good for us either. If something changes, I would love to get back in Columbus and see how miuch it has changed since I lived there in the 70's. If it was any other weekend except the 4th of July weekend, I'd be there....... I promised my grandkids we'd spend that weekend with them at the cottage....... so sorry.  |

Just spoke with the hotel. They have agreed to hold the group rate of $99 per night and the block of rooms through 6/24. After that the room rate will be $140 and rooms will be subject to availability. They expect the hotel to book for the 4th holiday so make certain you get your name in. If you are currectly undecided, I strongly recommend that you book a room now! You will have until 6:00pm July 4th to cancel without being charged. Marty, Great idea! Mr. Cat can come out for "Cruizen Columbus" and stay in my basement until Woodward. Two events in one trip! During the weeks between, he can sneak on down to Cincy, OH and harass Monahan! Who could ask for a more enjoyable summer!
