I am looking at the weekend of July 4,5,6 & 7th, that is the weekend of the Molson Indy in Toronto. If this is not good we can always do the following weekend July 11,12,13 & 14. Thought we could meet at Niagara-on-the-Lake July 4 and stay there, couple of great hotels and restaurants. Also very close to the Falls and the Casino for anyone wishing to leave their US$ behind to help reduce our taxes LOL. We could do a Wine Country Tour July 5 and finish off with a great meal at a little place called On The Twenty Restaurant and Winery. Then the next day July 6 leave early for 2 hr drive to Toronto. Have a couple of things planned, some may want to go to the Indy others tour the city and others whatever we decide. July 7, we could have an early breakfast and good bye's. Anyone interested please post here and I will see what response we get. Don't forget the US$ means everything here is half price for you folks South of The Border. Also our beer is twice as strong. LOL.
If you could let me know by Feb 8, 2002 I can see about making arrangements. Choice One (1) July 4,5,6 & 7th Choice Two (2) July 11,12,13 & 14. If you could let me know by Feb 8, 2002 I can see about making arrangements. If you could let me know by Feb 8, 2002 I can see about making arrangements. ------------------ |

Brian, I think we can make either week-end but I think the second choice is probably better to avoid the 4th of July week-end traffic. On the other hand, a lot of people would be off an extra day on the holiday week-end. I guess that makes me no help whatsoever, but what did you expect. "If you have it, they will come." I also think the second choice would give everyone a little more recovery time from Colorado and still be a month prior to Woodward. So split my vote 51 % for the 11th and 49 % for the 4th. Do you have fractions and percentages in Canada? EH Brian, your middle two websites will not come up. The first and last work fine. ------------------ This message has been edited by ed monahan on 01-21-2002 at 01:01 AM |

mid week stuff works good so people can use the weekends to drive to event. over the 4th would be good for me...I was going to see about putting a trip together over that week....Loooks like North of the border might be in the plan ------------------ |

Everything is a toss up for us in the summer, but we would take our best shot either way. ------------------ |

Brian, Several good points made here. The first weekend would be good because of extra days. However, second weekend would avoid 4th of July crowds and spread it out a little more between Colorado and Dream Cruise. However, whatever is the best choice for everyone else and those of you hosting the event is fine with me...I'll be there either way! |

Of course I will be there either way. With the 4th on a Thursday, perhaps we could have a casual start on the 4th and a formal start on the 5th thereby allowing those who wish to celebrate the 4th in the USA could do so and then still make the event on the 5th. The extra day holiday would likely allow more to attend. ------------------ ** COMING SOON 2002 CANDY RED ** 99 Supercharged Shelby Durango |

Brian, not to belabor the point but the 4th of July might be a little more important this year to some, after the attack on 9/11. Just something to consider. Either week is okay with us, probably. ------------------ |

Brian I like the 4th week coming from PA. I might have to leave earlier like friday due to weekend commitments but it would be nice to travel mid week Trey |

Nuts, I won't be able to make Canada this year. Too many events not enough vacation or dough. ------------------ |
