Another owner started this investigation. I'm just following up. Superior Radiator will be producing custom bolt-in all aluminum radiators for Prowlers. These are built on-site with aluminum tanks and cores designed to replace your original radiator. These are not cheap off-shore replacements that almost fit but need to be modified. Please understand that with a custom fabricated radiator you can see the welds and fabrication. This shop is the real deal and they provide high quality fabrication. They used a stock radiator for mock-up. They make and sell radiators one at a time. They have 50 cores for Prowler that are three weeks overdue from their supplier. There are only four radiator core suppliers in the US and this is their busiest season. Superior has about 20 Prowler owners that have already expressed an interest. They do not need a minimum quantity and are ready to start filling orders when the cores arrive. They will continue to offer radiators on an on-going basis. That said, it would help them to prioritize which owners have cars that are off the road and those that simply want one just in case. The owner did say that someone contacted them and wanted to be the exclusive source for Prowler radiators but he wasn't interested. Once Superior receives cores and starts production, they will have no problem supporting our owners. They do have to order a minimum of 20 custom cores at a time for stock. This is a small company that has been in the same location for 50 years. They are not Amazon or Summit Racing. All they do is custom fabricated radiators. Here's their contact information: Superior Radiator I drive right by their shop every other Wednesday night so if there's an issue I can stop and say hello. Upon reading this, I went ahead and sent them an e-mail indicating my interest. In part I said: I am a member of the Prowler Owners Association forum and am interested in purchasing one of your new Prowler bolt in direct replacement Radiators. Yes I understand this will not look like the stock radiator, but should otherwise fit and perform as well as the O.E. part. At this time, I do NOT have an issue where my Radiator requires replacement or repair ..... My intention is to purchase a replacement Radiator to have on hand for "someday" and to show my support for those who have made the effort to provide replacement parts for our cars that would otherwise be unavailable. With that in mind. I would like for you to communicate with me at such a time that you have inventory available to ship out, after those who have an immediate need have had their orders filled. quote: Its chit like this that gives him a bad reputation!!! I'm OK with him offering stuff with his markup, but don't try and corner the market like he has done with the stainless Exhaust!!! Once you buy it from Prowler store now you can't get any service. No one will take responsibility, the mfgr. says "contact Prowler store", Prowler store says "get a professional installer to install it"! so its bad juju for everyone involved. |

Plus they don't take any returns, do they? I would bet he found out about Superior by reading POA. In fact I would bet BIG money on it. He got his from Griffin and marked them up and didn't want any decent competition. Thanks for looking into it Bob. BTW, they haven't even started on the PT at work. |

Any updates from Superior? ACE has finished one. Tracy is picking it up tomorrow. We still don't know the price, but hopefully should have it tomorrow. They are not producing more, at this point. Anyone need a radiator? |

I recommend calling Superior. Their number is 586.463.8722 between 9:00 AM & 5:00 PM EST. They build a good radiator but area a little slow on emails. |

Spoke with Charlie from Superior Radiator at the Detroit Cobo Hall car show at end of February. He knew exactly the challenges with cooling the Prowler when installing a hemi. First person I ever talked to that understood "cooling" as opposed to just building a multi-core in-efficient rad.

I still plan to have my new Superior radiator installed but the Pandemic has forced me to put it on hold until who know when. Linda and I are both High Risk (especially her) and we are being very cautious. |

Hey guys thanks for the advice, I have left a voice mail and email with Superior but I haven't gotten any luck with talking to them. Rad is currently out of the car and I don't know what to do. |
