Driving home last night I stopped at a traffic light and my Prowler just died. I put her in "park" and turned the ignition key on and she started right up. After that incident, all the gauges, including the tach were working fine with exception of the speedometer. The rest of the way home the Prowler shifted up and down thru each gear normally.

anyone else have this happen?

That happened to us once. It turned out the negative cable on the battery was loose. The dealer said vibration caused it to be lose enough and lack of contact caused it to shut the car down. They cleaned and tightened both cables and no more problems. Hope it's this simple for you.

could be a number of things.ck the cable,if loose tighten,do not over tighten. the cable ends are steel and if overtightened will stretch the cable end and will be loose again.if not loose report back.

Not exactly the same situation you had,,,but similar.

Might be worth a closer look at the underside of those cables?

Good luck....
