I just ran into this, it lists the Kat as a Chrysler.

That's because in 2002 it was a Chrysler.

How much for one of those TPS computer?

It is cheaper to upgrade your whole TPMS (module + sensors)to 2002 then buy the older tire pressure sensors.

The conversion to the new TPMS system cost me:
4 x $35 (New TPS) + $115 (TPMS) + $100 (dealer computer) = $355


Keeping the old TPS system would have cost me at least:

4 x $130 (Old TPS from moparsupercenter.com) + $100 (dealer) = $620


Therefore converting to the "new" TPMS system saves Prowler owners at least $265!

How does this TPS computer register the IP address with the cars on board CPU?
