I found this ad on e-bay, they saying by installing there power performance chip, you can get 35 + HP. and 8 MPG More, and it only takes 10 mintues to install. All you need is a pair of needle nose pilers and some electric tape. There selling the chip for $27.99 + 3.99 SHIPPING. Has anyone every installed this type of chip before, or is it all B.S. Thanks AL.

Several reputable companies have tried to improve on the computer settings used by Chrysler. The most recent was Kenne Bell. That had little to no success.

My brother and his engineering staff designed the 3.5 HO back in 87 through 89, then tried many ways to increase the 253 HP through computer changes, timing changes, air fuel mixture, forced air intake and exhaust. The only way to get more out of it "stock" is through the exhaust system that can yeild 10 to 15 HP. My sugestion is to spend the 20+ $'s on 4 good milk shakes, you will get more enjoyment! lol

The stock computer program is almost max-ed out. You can have Dean from ProwlerPRO change the computers shift point from 3rd to 4th gear for approx $300-400. This will gain you better performance in the 75-95 mph range. The engineers purposly make the gear change from 3rd to 4th to protect the engine at that speed (most likely due to loads and drag).
Your best bet is:

1. Intake
2. Exhaust
3. Gears
4. Headers
5. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
