As I was slowly driving down a rough road today, I heard a popping noise coming from under the car. I later heard it while I was backing and turning. On the way home I heard it when I pulled away from a stop light. I could not tell were the sound came from, I only know it was a metallic sound from somewhere underneath. I could also slightly feel it. Any ideas?

Checks the bolts for tightness at each end of the angle braces that run from underneath the transaxle forward to just in front of the rear tires fenwell where the braces bolt to the frame cross member.

Thanks for the help. I tightened the bolts you indicated plus a few more. I think that cured it.

Thanks Catfish for your input also. This is a great site, Ill be sending my support check soon.
