After reading about alot of peoples problems with wheels I took a look at mine and noticed your chipping!

My Kat is a 99 with about 18K.

I purchased the Max care 65,000 Warranty a while back.
I called my dealer and the warranty hotline.

I just got a call today that they would replace all 4 of my wheels. The only cost I would have to pay is mounting

This a pretty good deal. Even though mine are not too bad I figured it will get worst.

Just wanted to post for others. Not sure if mine was a special case but it did go through

Just curious - this question is for anyone who has had their wheels replaced under warranty:

Who keeps the old wheels - dealer or customer ???????

Any info would be appreciated.

...First set of wheels I had replaced, I kept the originals....they didn't want to pay the freight to return them....the second set, they took the bad ones as cores...probably rechromed and on somebodys car now...so I still have an extra set of wheels

Trey,
How much did the extended warranty cost?
I may want to try that if economically feasible?

I know yours are pretty bad. Im pretty sure that you have to purchase the extended warrenty before the factory one runs out. I think i paid around $1100 im not sure. It Was about 2 years ago. I gotta it from a link on this site of a dealer that was offering it to alot of the prowler owners at a low price. I'm not sure if he's still doing it.

Causeway Chrysler in LA, This was for the Max Care policy purchased in year one. Bob Cooper??? 800-259-5337.

I'll try to post some picts when i can

wheels were replaced last week, Tech inspected before I arrived and then I did, they came from the factory perfect.

Dealer did not have tire machine so they got it done on the outside. Paid $40 for 4 new wheels.

I problem 1 sensor got broken in the process broken (low tire light on). Dealer replacing for free. Just the hassle of having to come in again. But they always
offer to take me to work and pick me up. Lansdale Chrysler
PA . Not a bad place!!
