I have recently purchased the Z9 & Z10 products for the leather in my Cat, but what should I use on the plastic and vinyl parts? Where is the cheapest place to get it? Any recommendations for products the the engine department, ie. the rubber hoses? I am also in need of microfiber towels, at a great price and polishing rags. Or, is that one in the same? |

I use the micro fibre for ANYTHING that touches them besides water. Ultra Coat 2 is the best I have found for detailing all this stuff. I even use it on the leather. I just drove 300 miles after deatiling my black in this picture. The car has 20K on her! In my opinion, it looks better then new. This stuff has to be bought by the case though, but well worth it. I HIGHLY suggest letting it soak in for 4 days before driving it though or finishing the detail. ------------------ |

quote: Todd, will you ~please~ refrain from posting that pic of your engine? What say you about being the "Official POA Distributor" of the Ultra Coat 2 since a)you know where to buy it, b)you buy it in quantity already, and c)our engines need to look as good as yours! (darn, there's that picture AGAIN!!!) |

If there really is some interest in this product I am willing to buy a case and sell it off at cost plus actual shipping charges. They are in OH but not very close to me. Post here if you want to get some. Thanks for the link, Todd. |

Ed, You da man (despite what they say about ya!) I'll try some - provided Todd refrains from posting that engine pic for a while! I couldn't seem to find the Ultra Coat 2 listed on the site (above) but didn't really have time to navigate through the entire site either. How many come in a case? How many more do you need to sell? |

GPS, we had an ice storm and I didn't have a cable connection until about an hour ago. I will call them and see what they have to say. |

Ed, do you have a per gallon cost? I might be interested in helping you get rid of a portion of a case. |

That's the cleanest engine compartment I've seen in a long time.. And yes you are correct in saying that it's better than when it came from the dealer... I will never ever let a dealership clean my car. They tend to ruin more things than they clean.. JMHO, Ron By the way, I'm in on purchasing some of that stuff too. |

Here is the info. I called the 800 number and got referred to the OHIO Malco who then gave me the local distributor. One Gal. is $22 or 23, 5 one gallon jugs are $ 20 each and if I buy ten they would be $ 18. I would think shipping would be way higher than that so you are probably better off just calling the 800 number and getting the local distributor. He said he would bring it to me Wed or Thurs. In Ohio call 800 455 2940. In Cincy, call 513 226-2980, Dave Best. National 800 253-2526. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 02-16-2003 at 09:11 PM |

Ed, you're probably right on the freight issue. I'll check into it on a direct basis before we have you buy more than you need. I tried calling just now, 4:10CST and they have left for the day. I'll try tomorrow, Wednesday, the 22nd. Thanks for checking into this for me. |

Question to all: While prowling the 303 site looking at the most-recommended convertible top treatment (303 High Tech Fabric Guard) Question: Can anyone compare "303 Aerospace Protectant" to "Ultra Coat 2"??? Would appreciate it. -GRROWL This message has been edited by GRROWL on 05-05-2003 at 03:44 PM |

I am bringing this back up since I want to get some of this stuff. I will buy some next week and take it to Louisville and can take some to the Smoky Mtn event in August. Anyone else interested in a gallon of it? Rich Ware wants a gallon and I will get a gallon. Hopefully we will find at least 5 of us. |
