Help, took Prowler in for some repairs, such as the leaky windows and when they tested it not only did they NOT dry off my Black Prowler they damaged the drivers seat. They informed me that they had put some plastic seat covers on and that the sun melted the plastic to the seat. When they removed the plastic it tore the leather. They ordered a new seat, but---it doesn't match. The dealer is now covering a new seat with an upholster in the area trying to match it to the passenger seat. Does anyone have any suggestions, I want the seats to match and they don't want to replace both the seats. ------------------ |

Randy; Send a "Certified-Return Receipt Letter" to the dealer outlining the problem & requested solution with a copy to DaimlerChrysler Motors Corp. P.O.Box 21-8004, Auburn Hills, Mi. USA. 48321-8004 -- again "return receipt" on the DaimlerChrysler letter also! The phone number if you want to really stir them up is: 1-800-992-1997 and that's the number for the "customer Center" also. Explain your problem and POLITELY but FIRMLEY the requested remedy. You can also cc the Better Business Bureau at the sametime. Grarantee you will get results. Besides, the dealer has insurance to cover "little mistakes" like this. It's part of doing business. Go get em tiger! ------------------ This message has been edited by Harry Findley on 09-22-2001 at 02:25 PM |

Randy, I had a scratch on my seat when it was new. D/C replaced the seat with a brand new one! They ordered it and had it in the car in only three days. -Hodge |
