Ed,,, good to hear the BuckNuts are putting U C on their basketball schedule... What about O-St playing Xavier in roundball....are they on the BuckNuts schedule or are they afraid to play against the Musketeers? |

That MAY happen. They are talking about expanding it to include XU and UDayton in the future. I think the OSU-UC thing starts next year, the first game of the season and then a return game the following year. UC v. XU is huge here. They could form their own league just in IND, KY & Ohio. UK is 90 minutes away, Louisville is about the same. IU is about 2 hours, Purdue is about 3 hours away. Butler is 2 hours away. Indy State could be included. Lots of powerhouses. UC's coach was an asst. at Louisville years ago. They might get it all together some day. They are all bitter rivals and usually produce outstanding games. |

X U defeated U C in the Crosstown Shootout today. Kind of a mild upset but since they were playing at X. U. it really wasn't a shocker. They played at Noon. Pathetic. The biggest game of the year here and it is before the leagues start so as not to be a distraction. That might knock UC out of the top 20. XU was about 21 or 22 before today. Both teams are fairly good this year. |

Update, X U is currently ranked 6th and U C is 8th. Both have won 20 games already. Since we are not at home in Cincy, I am not getting to read all of the hype, only getting to see scores on the internet. |
