$1.77. It's going to be lower than that once unemployment hits 10%.

Had to take a second glance at the gas sign tonight, it was $1.48.

Going to Prowlin' the Rockies this summer cost $768.00 in gas just to tow the Prowler loaded in the 24ft Wells Cargo being pulled by our Expedition.

At today's prices, that same trip would have cost me only $295.50. Who would have thought back in June when we peaked at around $4.00, that we would be down to $1.50 by Thanksgiving?

Don't know about you guys in your states...we have state tax at 18 cents per gallon. Tonight I paid $2.11 at a local Chevron Station in Orange County, California.

I saw $ 1.52 this evening at the UDF on Rt. 4 in Fairfield. Tiny 4 pump place next to the Olive Garden. A bunch of them were 1.55. It could happen.

Ed,

Let me know if you catch one..my wife actually collects flying pig statues and would probably love a real flying pig for Christmas. Maybe that will get her mind off of the yorkie pup she has been bugging me to get her

Cincinnati was nicknamed Porkopolis around the turn of the century (not 8 years ago) and there are Flying Pigs on top of poles down on the river, leading to a park. We have the Flying Pig Marathon and we had the Big Pig Gig a few years ago where huge pig statues were painted, decorated, etc all around the downtown area.
I need to go take some pics of the flying pigs.

Around here it is mostly $1.51 to 1.63 for regular. Just north of us about 5 miles it is almost always cheaper, in Fairfield, around I-275, which seems unusual. You would think it would be higher near the interstate.

I just went out looking for a few repoes. Gas jumped about 20 cents almost everywhere. I found a station at 1.52 but the woman said she was getting ready to post the new price.

the outskirts here have it in the mid $ 1.40s. Most are around $ 1.60. The price of pork is way high, however.

I saw it at $ 1.46 at a bunch of stations in Fairfield on Rt. 4 a couple of nights ago. A lot of them are still in the 1.50 to 1.63 range. It went up about 10 days ago.
