Since I no longer have a real Prowler, I'm relegated to playing with my little one. I drove it a lot over the past winter in Florida, but was restricted to daylight hours. No lights make it dangerous to drive at night. That is about to be fixed. I'm just about done with the headlights and have started on the tail lights. the headlights mimic the real deal, but the tail lights will be unique to this car and not resemble the real ones.

As you can see, I have separate switches for low and high beam. the inside lights are low beam, and the outside ones come on for high beam in conjunction with the low beams. The lights are Halogen Xenon projector bulbs that put out light like a real car. They are intensely bright and light up the road far ahead. The plexiglass shells of the lamps will be painted in body color when I eventually get around to that. |

Great job Kraut. Just par for the course for you. Hurry up and get to Fla. and buy another Prowler. I still can't believe that you, Dale, Whealey and Marty no longer own a Prowler. |

Thanks to all for the nice comments. At the rate I'm going on this, it shouldn't take more than another couple of years to get the whole car finished. Boy, I'm slow. |
