JULIO ROSAS | MAR 26, 2018 | 4:28 PM

In the aftermath of the March for Our Lives that took place in Washington, D.C., and across the country, NBC News erroneously reported on social media the number of marchers was almost 1 million. The true number, however, was significantly lower.

Initially, NBC News reported there were an estimated 800,000 people who registered to vote at the march on Saturday but then issued a “correction,” saying 800,000 is the number of people who participated, which is what the March for Our Lives organizers claimed the number to be in the nation's capital:

CBS News, however, reports there was actually an estimated 200,000 people at the march. The number comes from Digital Design & Imaging Service Inc. Organizers were hoping to reach a crowd size of 500,000.

DDIS says there were an estimated 202,796 people. The company's margin of error for its estimate is 15 percent.

Ingraham on March for Our Lives: 'Political Theater Lacking in Substance'

Laura Ingraham called out the "political theater" of this past weekend's March for Our Lives demonstrations.

Thousands of people took to the streets in cities across the country on Saturday, calling for action against gun violence.

Ingraham noted that Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips spoke to several young demonstrators in Washington, D.C., asking what changes they wanted to see, and he got mixed messages.

Some protesters called for a complete ban on assault weapons -- although they could not define what an assault weapon is -- while others called for the Second Amendment to be repealed.

"This is the problem with political theater lacking substance," Ingraham said. "Lots of people show up and they applaud for Lin-Manuel [Miranda] and Amy Schumer, but what are they marching for? To repeal the Second Amendment? To ban weapons they can't even define? The truth is, they don't really know."

She added that after watching the "maniacal, wall-to-wall coverage" of the marches, it seemed like the media was trying to save the "political lives" of top Democrats Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer.

Analysis shows most ‘March for Our Lives’ protesters not the kids media claimed

Despite media narrative, study says teenagers made up just 10 percent of March for Our Lives crowd

By Alex Pappas | Fox News

A university professor studying large-scale, Trump-era protests in Washington says the media is giving the wrong impression about who made up the crowd during last weekend’s anti-gun March for Our Lives demonstration.

“My research tells a different story about who participated in the March for Our Lives — and it is more complicated and less well-packaged for prime time,” University of Maryland sociology professor Dana R. Fisher wrote in a Wednesday story for the Washington Post.

Fisher’s study indicates that -- while news coverage focused on the teenagers marching for gun control in the wake of last month’s shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida --- 90 percent of the crowd was actually adults. She said the average age of adults in the crowd was just under 49.

The truth behind the 'student-led' March for our Lives

“Contrary to what’s been reported in many media accounts, the D.C. March for Our Lives crowd was not primarily made up of teenagers,” Fisher wrote. “Only about 10 percent of the participants were under 18.”

Fisher said her team sampled 256 people who were randomly selected.

Her research will become a book titled “American Resistance” and will be published after the midterm elections.

Fisher also expressed skepticism that all those who showed up to the march were there primarily because of their views on guns. Some, she said, came for entertainment.

"The March for Our Lives had the allure of a free concert — in fact, the event’s website maintained a list of performers but never listed the speakers," she said. "But it is one thing to turn out to watch Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ariana Grande perform, and quite another to vote in the midterm election in November.”

The research follows an imaging company saying the turnout for the march was much less than claimed by its organizers.

Organizers of the demonstration claimed Sunday that some 850,000 people attended the pro-gun control event.

But Virginia-based Digital Design & Imaging Service Inc., which uses aerial photos to calculate crowd sizes, reported the event’s peak crowd size was at 202,796 people.

When will George Soros be labeled an Enemy to the State and prosecuted for his actions? Him and his kids should be sent to Hungary (not that they want him or would take him either) ... but we are allowing this manipulator of Stocks and of Civilization to fund ALL these hate and device groups .... enough is enough.
