Today on CNN Trump warned Cruz not to trash him, if he does start a fight with Trump,Trump WILL get even. That would not be in the best interest for Cruz.

CNN is also sayinmg Carson might drop out of the Republican race. It's hard to say who he would pick as VP, Trump may pick someone that we haven't even heard of yet.

Trump is a odd fellow,if you cross him he will never forget. He's a get even kind of guy. He either really ikes you or he really hates you.

Rudy Giuliani is one of his closet friends and he is loved by people in N.Y. He was a great major and is a straight shooter. He might be the one.

I dunno about that. He seems to like Geraldo, and that cant be easy.....

I think it will be Ted Cruz due to their avoiding attacks to each other and that little meeting they had back around the first debate.

While Rubio is not my guy ,I still like the thread of " BJ's perfect day"

I would HOPE it to be Ted Cruz ... both have similar ideologies - Trump is just more BLUNT in expressing it.

Cruz,,,,as of now..... (I'm open to change my mind)

Why?

Because of his position to close off the border, his roots will capture the previously missing Latino voters, his college background, his vast understanding of the U.S. Constitution, his victories arguing cases before the Supreme Court, his experience as a U.S. Senator, and his generally youthful age preparing him to take over the presidency after a term as VP.. (if all goes well)

BJ I have to know. I say any Republican is better than Hillary Clinton getting into the White House. I would vote for any Republican running against her. If it comes down to Clinton VS Trump would you?

A: Not vote at all
B: Vote Trump
C: Vote Clinton

Rich......If Trump gets the GOP nomination I'll vote for him ...

He is not mine choice and in spite of what people here seem to think I think he will be defeated simply because of the massive numbers of people who will go to the polls just to be sure he is defeated....

He has polarized himself as being a pompous ass and created a monster with his rhetoric and belligerent attitude...

I would have thought that at least AlleyCat would have made the Mancaver list of serious contributors. Mancaver is a very serious contributor and set the bar high to meet his standards. I guess even AC can't measure up to the high standards he expects in this forum.

Thanks for the reply and I am glad to hear that you would vote for Trump in that scenario. We have to keep Hillary out of office. I still hope and believe that the FBI will find she mishandled classified documents Secretary of State. Hopefully that will be enough in itself to absolutely kill any chance she has of being elected. What the DOJ will do is another matter. Loretta Lynch seems to be in Obama's pocket. He does not want her prosecuted because that makes him look bad. Even in the off chance the DOJ moves to prosecute her, Obama will likely give her a pardon.

The most recent Wall Street Journal poll (published today) indicates that in a head-to-head race between Trump and Clinton he would get a MAJOR butt whoopin' by the old broad.

The same poll showed Clinton losing to Rubio or Carson...

"Rubio would also perform best with female voters out of the top GOP contenders, CAPTURING 44 percent to Clinton's 51 percent. That's compared to Trump's DISMAL showing of 33 percent to Clinton's 57 percent."

I inserted the CAPS in that quote. Think they might be trying to sway opinions using words like CAPTURING a whopping 44 % as opposed to a DISMAL 33 %!!! Neither figure is a majority and there really isn't a whole lot of difference between the two totals.
They may be trying to plant the seed that you are backing a loser so you ought to switch horses and get on board with OUR candidate, Hillary. Just my opinion.

Ed....Re-read the quote......It's referring to "perform best with female voters" It wasn't referring to ALL voters.

And while Rubio only trails Clinton by 7% (44 to 51%) Trump would lose to her by a WHOPPING 24% ! (33% to 57%) ....

Your comparison clearly shows that Rubio would do better than Trump in and election against Clinton.

(also....the article did not use the words "capturing a whopping 44%"....It simply said "capturing 44%")

BJ:

I was taking in all the articles until I stopped to note that the articles were coming from CNBC.

I'm not a big Trump fan, but CNBC has very little credibility with me.

I used to think that the media's roll was to report news, etc. and to be unbiased. Silly me. I am so tired of the media trying to tell everyone who they should vote for, how they should live, etc. Tired of the "bashing" of people they don't like, judging people. (Not much different on POA). Do they think we are not adult enough to make up our own minds...and should be able to if given the truth, the real facts?

As a woman, I personally don't think that this country is ready for a woman president. Especially, Mrs. Clinton. Some of the countries we are dealing with in this environment have no respect for women. Not counting the men in our own country who don't either...

I don't know who I will vote for but that is for me to decide, not the media or anyone else for that matter.

I stand corrected BJ. Thanks.

Majority of Wall St Journal is unbaised IMO, not so with NBC....But yes WSJ & NBC far better than CNBC.
