There hasn't been a new suggestion in two weeks, so, in honor of Friday the Thirteenth, how about this: We need an "Inventor's Hall of Fame" as a topic on the Home Page. What triggered this idea is the "never seen on TV" incredible invention of the "Custom Prowler-only wheel cap removal tool". I looked into ordering the real part-numbered trimstick at one time, but refused to pay 5 dollars for shipping on a one dollar part. No way. Then this genius comes up with the solution. Don't remember who. We need a place to honor the discoverers of "the wheel cap hotmelt glue system". The "chrome" grill. The "vacuum hose on the convertible top mechanism so your top doesn't rip". The "I know how to make your doors open wider". And the untold hordes that remain undiscovered (actually, it would be a repository of neat ideas). We could also point new members here to obtain the (prowler) "Wisdom of the Aged" (no, that's not a typo). The "Custom Prowler-only wheel cap removal tool" came to mind when I scheduled GRROWL in to have his/her wheels balanced (actually, I'm more concerned in making sure there are no more bent wheels before the warranty is up) and, in preparation, I took not one, but TWO "Custom Prowler-only wheel cap removal tools", drilled a hole in each, and put them with the wheel lock key (the wheel locks come with a key, the key comes with a wire-tie like item with a clip on the end so you can tie it somewhere in the car and clip the key onto it. I just kept the wire tie in a loop and put it in the pouch on the hump). So, I suggest we honor these unsung inventors by putting all of the neat ideas in one place. -GRROWL P.S. - BLACK PROWLERS ARE BEST (for Friday the Thirteenth).
