A special thanks goes out to John Stray Cat for setting the stage for me being Framed in Ohio.. He was spot on as it truly is Art Like.. He was also right about the people at J & J Auto Wrecking.. They are Class Act all the way around, I would highly recommend them.. It's not a normal wrecking yard, It's like a Farm House Camp Ground.. I dealt with Andy and he is as sharp as a tack and very easy to deal with.. It was a long drive but I was able to meet another Prowler owner in K.S. and dropped of the rear mud flaps to Charley that he bought from me, but I was able to make it.. Left Tuesday 5:30am and arrived at J&J.s about 3:30am.. Took a nap in the car and they showed at about 8:00am but didn't open till 9:30am.. They loaded me with a front loader and off I went.. I was able to get back to Arvada, Colorado at 4:30am just in time for my wife to go to work so I had breakfast with her. There were others that played the part with helping me get FRAMED in Ohio.. Gabe a Prowler member on this site from Utah got the ball rolling with a Big Donation, a friend donated a Charger door, others cash and I thank you all for helping me save a car.. John(onecatnodog)

I didn't set enough money aside for fuel as it's way more expensive on the road then it is in Arvada at $2.89-$3.09..

When my wife asked what the heck is on the trailer I had to be honest with her and told her its a professional rack to dry carpets on..

Yea detailing her car wasn't enough when I got home, so I started with cleaning the rugs, raked the front yard, I did all kinds of chores.. I'm dying to Power wash the frame but not yet in the picture.. John(onecatnodog)

Congrats! So glad you made it back and so happy you are happy with your purchase! I thought it was amazing too. How did the trailer do? I understand they "bumped" it with the lift? I have so much to communicate here too. Lots going on in my life. And it looks like a Marvelous Rug drying contraption!

Happy to help,

John

John,,, the frame weights 208 lbs, as I recall.

Hope, besides your bride, others will help you unload it?

Good purchase!!

Thanks Alley, I was wondering how much it scaled at.. Stray Cat it was only a miner blemish on my friends trailer and of course I let him know immediately. My friend asked me what I thought and I didn't want it to go against anyone's record there at J&J so I said I would eat it and fix it myself.. They did give me a amazing price on the frame for $1,500 before the trailer scratch and then for me to turn around and charge them.. I want them to stay in business and the employee really gave me a big thank you hug. My folks taught me that when you borrow something you bring it back nicer than you got it. It's nice having a friend like Scott and he gave me a Free Lesson on body work.. Man did I learn alot... Big difference in fixing a trailer fender then my wife's car.. So I learned to hammer it out. Mix bondo, smear it on, let it dry while sanding the runs out from the guy that put this trailer together and painted it.. I bet over 50 runs he put in it.. Sanded all the runs out on both fenders, sanded everything and put on some primer sealer and then some epoxy black paint on it.. It came out super nice.. Even for my first attempt.. But then again I had Scott there to help me and keep me inline.
