My passenger side glass came out of the lift channel. The rubber that holds the glass in the channel is torn in half. I've been unable to contact Kathy. Anyone know the thickness of the rubber and the measurements of where it goes? I no longer have the instructions that showed the measurements and the thickness of the rubber is very important to hold the glass in the channel. Any help is very much appreciated!

Does this video help ? http://www.bing.com/search?pglt=41&q=Tom+mills+Window+Regulator+Instructions&cvid=421247fb3b9f4d26b51d1df2e224bdb3&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQABhAMgYIAhAAGEAyBggDEAAYQNIBC TE2MzM3ajBqMagCCLACAQ&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=DCTS

I am glad you asked. I went back and looked at mine that I bought off of our site, and there are NO instructions, so I'll need to phone and get them as well. But I believe that Video outlines it all.

Good Luck,

John

Kathy just got ahold of me. She was out of town on vacation. So I got the instructions emailed to me. She will check with Tom to see if he has any of the rubber pieces left. Thanks all!!

Who installed the regulators? Was it already in the car when you bought it? If the channel was installed on the glass properly the only way it will come off is the lower stop on the gear is not tight and slipped or was not tightened and fell off. The fact that the channel is damaged makes me think it came off because the stop is no longer on the gear.

I installed both the drivers and passengers Tom. Haven't had any issues with the drivers. I will check tomorrow to see if the stop came off. Thanks for pointing it out! I kinda thought the bend in the channel shouldn't be there.

I couldn't wait till tomorrow. You're exactly right Tom, look what I found stuck to the speaker magnet and laying in the door.

Got the stop back in. Verified the up stop was tight as well. Thanks again Tom! No idea how it came loose. Just need to get the rubber piece from you to install the glass again. Let me know the cost and I will get ahold of Kathy and send her my info.
