I don't see the amounts EACH PERSON contributed listed so why is his contribution so important? If you give $ 1000 a year are you 100 times more important that someone who donates $ 10 a year? Some folks have A LOT more money than others. This is my LAST post on this thread. It is not my job or duty to explain what is going on. I am not an administrator. I am not trying to sway anyone's opinion. I stated a little known fact contradicting what some folks posted, that he did not contribute. He did. It is not for me to disclose what transpired. Again, no more posts from me on this thread. Have at it if you want. I hope you attain your goal. |

Donations are obviously down. Some creative minds here. Is there another means other than donations to support the site financially? Maybe an annual auction where members donate a part or memorabilia and there is an online auction with proceeds going to the site? May not work...just a idea to the the discussion started. |

If you check my post on this discussion site, you will see that I am donating 10% of the sales I make to fellow POA members. If more of you would do this, we can keep the site afloat. P.S. I sold my Prowler but am still a loyal member and contributor. |

I sold a few items and donated the 10% that I promised. I think anyone who uses this site to sell items should donate a portion of their sale. I am also aware some have already done that in the past. Many have made lots of money selling on this site. Don't be greedy and get on board. quote:

Let me add my endorsement. I joined the site in May 2016 and got my Prowler in August. In the short time I've been here, I learned invaluable information on what to look for and how to price the car I wanted to buy, I saved a couple of thousands dollars on an expensive engine repair job by heeding the advice of forum members, I learned about why I should replace my run flat tires (although I'm still trying to find a good source in the islands), I got great ideas for installing a modern double-DIN stereo (project finished today -- photos coming soon!), found an awesome solution for lifting the passenger seat so my kid can see over the dashboard (thank you Rick Buehler), and I am currently working on a weird airbag light issue with the kind support of numerous members. Well worth the donation I think. I look forward to giving again in 2017! |
