,,,They would often reduce your monthly allocation of certain 'hot' models, if there was 'aged' in-stock cars... But I think there was a way to reset the warranty start date on vehicles that were actually 'still new'

I doubt the Prowler alone would have any direct effect on other 'model allocation'. Several dealers 'sat on them' either for personal reasons,,, just to have something to Wow customers coming into the dealership... and/or asking a ridiculous sales price. One dealer here had 3 new Prowlers in the showroom several years after production ended...asking $49.9K for them (looking for that Lottery winner I guess). Another dealer I've met here during B-J week,,from Idaho, said he had a couple of new Prowlers still in inventory long after production AND five/six Prowler trailers stored. The Prowlers he kept for personal, occasional short sunday drives and showroom attraction/conversation.....while waiting for them to appreciate in value.

Long ago it was posted that dealers still had new Prowlers still in inventory....long after production ended:

One year after production ended: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008316.html

22 months after production ended: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008316.html

33 months after production ended, still a new '02 in dealer inventory:

Another good read from Dec. 2004 > dealer concessions made and more: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/012082.html

",,,,, several dealers selling the new Mulhollands and golds for $35,700,,,which had to be a figure adjusted by rebates to entice sales and move these units out of stock."

...not to start a war, but gold wasn't one of the more popular colors when new...low production numbers don't always mean high prices...I bought a 2,000 mile gold Prowler with a trailer for $32K for the sole intent of repainting it

...if you truly want to spend $47K for a Prowler, I will pay your airfare from ANYWHERE in the world and let you have your choice of any of mine

...02 Kandi w/6-7k miles,
...02 Tangelo Kat w/13k miles
...2000 Yelo with 250 actual miles

...all have hard tops, TGF grills, Jimmy Dale spinners, custom side panels (2 louvered, 1 TGF ) all stock parts etc...your choice for $47k

...bring a check and drive home tomorrow,

...if you truly want to spend $47K for a Prowler, I will pay your Greyhound Bus fare from ANYWHERE in North America and let you buy mine for $46.4K ($4K more than I paid for it new)

Just bank wire ahead the CASH (usd) and drive it home,,,I'll even throw in a $25 Subway gift card for a few meals along your return trip.

Bonus pack also thrown into the deal: Tranny Input & Output sensors, seven old pairs of failed hood support struts, several OEM failed window regulators, two chrome center caps repaired, and a Rand McNally 2007 Road Atlas!

This IS a fantastic deal for the scrupulous buyer....

Dan,,, Since Taco Bell is throwing in the extra floor mats with bubble gum stuck in them, and the picture of Cookie Bell in her swimsuit .....I'll respectfully withdraw my sales presentation. Sorry ,,, I didn't want to part with my Rand McNally 2007 Road Atlas anyway....
