Frankly, as many have said, who wears a watch anymore?! I have two very, very nice Baum Mercier watches that will be left for my kids each, as I get my time from the phone - when I care what time it is!

A standard Rolex is a cheap-ish watch to a true watch aficionado, but to a gold digger a Rolex Submarier will have more value than for example a Urwerk 110 (my dream watch)

The hardtop will trump both

That said, I don't like the hardtop look at all....

The solution is to go to a reputable used watch dealer and buy a used Rolex. Like a Ford Pinto, they depreciate about 50% right out of the box. Get one that's been recently serviced with new gaskets from a certified dealer, and get the best of both awful worlds - a Prowler defiled with a hardtop, and a watch that looks great, but doesn't keep time, and a bleached blond bimbo who thinks that both are classy.

BTW, if the women in Florida are that keen-eyed, just get a Cartier Santos - just as recognizable as the Rolex, sleeker, cheaper to buy used, and way more stylish and comfortable to wear.

Or skip all the above, get a male enhancing implant ala Ron Jeremy, wear skin tight leather pants to show it off, and you'll be the most popular non-Rolex wearing, non-Prowler driving guy around ... heck, you go big enough, can likely even take public transportation and the women you are chasing wont care

Buy the hard top too and still be a couple grand under. Easy choice to me drive and enjoy. You will get more for these toys

Yes, I do Enjoy the Prowler, The prowler has benefits, please tell me you never had a lady come up to you when you are in your prowler and start a conversation. I just take that as an opening to other things, yes it will lead to a interesting evening.
I would love to meet a lady here in FL that is not a gold digger, but that's all we have here. I just say it like I see it.

-Give Trophies to the kids at the Hospital when I win them at car shows.
