Bob, I purchased a set of hoses from you a few years ago. Since my car only has 3,200 miles on it (2001) I have not needed to replace the originals yet. I have been storing them in a sealed (Food Saver) bag that was completely sucked out in terms of air, and in a dark cardboard box. Is this the best way to store them? do you have any other suggestions? I want them to be usable in the future if they are needed. Thanks, The Very Old Man This message has been edited by Scot Stern on 07-31-2014 at 11:03 AM |

quote: Great idea. I put mine in a vacuum seal-a- meal which flattened the hoses, then I cut the corner at a diagonal to allow the hoses enough air to take shape then just sealed it there. I'm hoping that in 10-15 years they'll be ready for use. |

weekly bump. Anyone need hoses? I've received a number of PM's and emails that indicated that they were interested in hoses but haven't heard anything more. There has also been a fair amount of interest in replacement trailer VIN tags. |

I did a search for "Trailer VIN Tag" and looked for only threads with those words in the subject. I came up with this: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/000024.html

The lower hose is the same for the 1997. The upper is unique. Do you need or want a set? I will take four sets to Pigeon Forge. The cost picked up during the event will be $60. |
