Tami You are right we need to get the North and south together . I have not seen any of you guys for years
I will work on putting a trip together for all, maybe we can spark some interest..

Mickey

You are right. You should never leave a home alone.. I just checked the house and all is not that bad. Some water under the hardwood floors we used vacuum and had to only pull up a small section. That is the nice thing about a floating floors. The floor can be pulled up and dried off then if straight can be reinstalled. So the house should be back together soon.. Then it will be FOR SALE... Do you want to buy it??? Is that something I can put on the classified's.. Like former Prowler residence, 2000 Yellow Prowler has lived there for past 10 years no complaints.....

.I need ideals where we could go for a day trip or maybe a overnight run... any ideals pass them on

Jim, I hate to hear you got water in the house. We had some pretty good rains here but all is well. We will see you all on the next trip.

Tami, I agree, we need to get together halfway sometime soon, maybe Waco area?

Mickey, I did hook up the Monster Trailer and got it turned around on the place before the floods came. This Blackland Clay gets pretty soft when it gets wet! Most everyone in the group usually don't like to do the shows let alone drive up here to do one, but I have had some requests lately to post them, and I actually remembered to do it this time!!!

I have plans to make the Pattison Car Show October 9th. It will probably have 200-300 cars...a great car show!

That sounds great Marty,,,,,and Tami already volunteered to help out you out some... For a newbie back in 2004, she did a excellent job in the very successful, Texas Prowler Stampede event!

If the economy comes back strong by then,,,could be a 100 to 125 car event. If not,,,I say 60 to 75 cars is still possible.

George, My Son and I took two cars to Pattison a couple of years ago and had a pretty good time. I don't know if that is on our schedule yet.

Excellent Jim and Tom - let us know. We are always crazed during football season with the kids'stuff going on, but will definitely try and make a fun run to Waco or wherever. I will send out an e-mail to my list when we there's a date.

T,,,looking back now,,,it was funny having law enforcement cars surround our cat while driving down the road. It wasn't funny at the time since it was raining, and I had no windshield wipers on the cat. I thought that was what they were following for

The end result was we missed the turn off, and lost the group. Just remember,,,,,paybacks do happen!

I really can't put a finger on our club. We've had 5 parties the last month or so actually kinda celebrating our trip to Deadwood. We have a little bowling allet/bar we usually meet at on Friday nights (during the summer) and all it takes to have a cruise is for our pres (onecatnodog) to e-mail a couple days in advance and we're off. Don't even have any regular club meetings. Seems we love to drive our cars and love being with each other.

That is the bench racing I am looking for here in Texas.. I love to drive my car and we will drive 40 miles for dinner. When I had street rods the fun of the cars was in the build and the driving them. We would meet anywhere ant any time. The best was when we had no club... Just a pile of good people having fun with their cars..

Calling all Houston cars for a get together for dinner one Friday Night.. Maybe that would be better that a Saturday.. Who is interested???????? POST here of a PM with suggestions.......I want to ride...

hmmm, lets see... he gets off work at 5, home at 6, an hour to drive out of the monster trailer (freeway speeds), a 30 minute drive down his driveway to the road (speedometer doesn't go that high), 1 1/2 hrs to houston, 30 minutes to the restaurant... The crowd should be gone by then. I'm up for it.
