Heard from a friend in PHX that some cars at BJ were damaged due to the excessive rainfall last night (Thurs 1-21). For example a AC Cobra full of water…?

Not so good weather for open top cars…

This occurred at the Russo and Steele site where the tent was completely blown away and could not be put back up, winds at that time were reported anywhere from 60-75mph. A few convertibles were left out in the rain which was a few inches through the night and guess a few cars would have been damaged by the tent polls etc.... One man said he tried last night to go see his car but was denied access by the police most likely for safety precautions for life not property. Surprised more cars were not damaged at the sites with the way the storm rolled through last night.

I am VERY GLAD that the Prowlers are getting good exposure on a national spotlight and that they are selling for very good prices. Also on a national spotlight. And it helps that the announcers have decent things to say about them.

This keeps the identity of the car out there and might translate to higher prices (as well as greater interest) for the "smaller seller" in the coming spring and summer.

All in all, its a win/win situation for ALL OF US.

And as an Inca Gold owner, I am very, very pleased!!

The yellow looked perfect except the original wheel valve stem caps were replaced with black plastic ones. The inca had a bad nose scrape.

Ed,

I think they all came with factory black valve stem caps?

It was the first thing I changed out when I got home

That should make all those folks who bought one and stored it feel a little better. Too bad for me, I chose to drive it. But I'd rather have the miles of smiles!

Plus, I didn't buy it new.

I'm wondering if the owners who had cars at Russo-Steele auction,,signed a release form for any physical damages?

If so, it may cost companies like Haggerty and Grundy, a boatload of cash to pay off those loses.

Can't wait to see how this all plays out

Rickster........there were Inca Gold's built in 02 (which, of course, was the last year built), but Deep Candy Red were the last color and last built.
