Grant I really like the #4 as it gives a good color contrast. |

quote: Why is this one even posted as an option? I am sure whoever is in charge of this is staying on top of things, but I was led to believe that sometime in March was the deadline given by DOT/state prison/whoever to order in time for the June event. Time is ticking and there needs to be time for everyone to see the update, make their choice known, and get orders in. No firm decision has been indicated on which plate is being done. No firm price has been set and posted. And no firm deadline has been posted. When an update is posted in the initial post, it doesn't bump up the thread and nobody knows an update (or another option) was even added. |

quote: Thats because it is an option. The DMV is doing another sample plate now that I should have either later this week or next that will also be an option. I spoke with the DMV yesterday and asked what the very latest the deadline would be and was told May 1, so that is the final deadline to order a plate. As far as price per set, I will not know until we have chosen the plate we are going with, then I will get the design fee charge bill (still will be in the $35- $45.) We will make this decision by the end of March, then I will be in contact with everyone that has asked for one and request payment at that time. On a side note, the Mile Hi Prowler club has decided to remove the "2008" at the end of Prowlin Colorful Colorado. The reason for this is these plates can be used for our club events year after year at no additional charge. I was told there was 1 car club in Colorado that has used their plates for last 10 years, and we would like to do the same. This message has been edited by lawndog on 03-12-2008 at 12:12 PM |

We were up dated on the plate at Sundays the 9th of March meeting and voted on the final touches to be done to it. The plate can be made rather guickly, it's the format design that takes the longest. The price will depend on how many order it, but you can figure around $45.00... Give Lawn Dog a P.M. if you need to know more about the Colorado Event Plate.. Thanks, onecatnodog |

Per the updating post on 3-12-08 11:36am by lawndog, we are still waiting for a 6th option to look at, no choice has yet been made on which plate or plate colors will ultimately be used, thus, no firm price has been set for the plates. 3-12-08 11:44am post by onecatnodog states that on March 9th a decision was made on which plate will be made and states the price will be set by the final number being sold, saying to PM lawndog if we need more info. With all due respect here, does lawndog really know more info since he wasn't aware that a decision was made on which plate was chosen? He was still waiting on another option to arrive from the DMV. Which option was ultimately already decided on? Posting that here would eliminate at least some of the PM's that may be sent requesting more info. |

O.K. here is what the license plates will look like. The Prowler will be on the far left hand side to allow for the 6 spaces to personalize each individual plate plate. I will need: year/ make/ model/ vin #/ and proof of insurance (for June 2008) for each plate issued. If you are planning on picking up your plate at "Prowlin Colorful Colorado" you can show me your proof of insurance when picking up your plate. I should have the final bill for the design fees by the end of March or sooner then I can let you know what the cost per plates will be. I will need the above information along with a check for each set of plates prior to the May 1, 2008 deadline to make these plates up. |

Hey! The light bulb finally lit! Up until now I haven't been interested in the plates based upon the preconceived notion that they only worked for Colorado residents or states only requiring a rear license plate. My state, Missouri, requires front and rear plates. I didn't figure there was any place to display the event plate. It wasn't until today that I read that every one can display the plates while in Colorado for the event!!!!!!!!! COUNT ME IN!!!!!! Grant, I'll have a check in the mail before the end of the week. I'll enclose the required information. "Better Late than Never" Bob Leonard (NTPROWL) |

Grant, I got your PM and I sent you a reply, however I am not sure it went thru??? In case it did not I am posting a reply here. I sent you a copy of our old "Proof of Insurance" card. It has the Year, Model and Vin# on the card. We will have our new card when the Prowler comes out of storage for the winter. We sent you the car color along with the check. Grant would you check with Carl as we sent our check for registration fees sometime ago and I have got my cancelled back. However when I look at the attendees list of who has paid they do not show us paid. Just checking. Thanks again!!!!! Gene & Dixie |
