ok.. Driving my new charger, and I really like it, but I'm thinking the Prowler pulls off the start just as good, if not way better. So I did a little math.. These big cars, like the charger with the cool Hemi.. they weigh 2 tons
Ponder this next time someone says, it only has a 6cyl

Charger with 5.7 Hemi @ 350hp is a whopping 4100 lb car. So the ratio of bhp/hp=.085

That little prowler with it's tiny 6, is only 2838 lbs with a 253hp engine.. netting a ratio of bhp/hp=089..

Moral = bigger engine, is not always better

Agree.... Add the gears and it is a different car - for sure off the line.

I agree! Some other interesting facts:
The LS7 Vette engine weighs 370 lbs fully dressed and puts out a whopping 1.36 Horse Power per pound. (505 H.P. Certified)

The North Star Supercharged engine weighs 450 pounds fully dressed and puts out 1.04 Horse Power per pound. (496 H.P. Certified)

I think Norm is speaking about his S2000 Honda? Once those 4 cyl Hondas hit their pulling rpm range,,,,they are killers!!!

Ac, thats right. The little four banger is 120 cubic inch and puts out 240 hp. Cold air intake and your flying when the v-tech kicks in at 6, ooo rpm.Never redline it yet in 6th gear red line is 9,000.
