Great news on Carter's trailer... After settling in and getting some needed rest he did some searching and came up with a insurance policy that is $100.00 deductible on the trailer... That's such great news for him and the rest of the bunch... YEA TEAM!

I explained that it was the Prowlers Car Club Meeting and that we were doing a raffle in the lot and that all the yelling would be over shortly. She then asked me about the Banner and if that belonged to the Car Club that was hanging up in the court yard and said that they had paid to have the court yard set up for the reception and she was going to have the banner taken down and thrown in the trash.. I told here I would take care of it and safely removed it rolled it up and took it to my room for safe keeping planing on putting it back up later that evening after they had left. Well partied in the lot till 11:30 and my wife went up at about 9:00 and packed everything.. Including the Banner that was on the counter. Woke up at 6:30 loaded all the stuff in the car and Carters trailer and went back in side for breakfast, not even thinking about the banner since I didn't see it on the counter... MY BAD! As soon as I read your post I called my wife and she said yes she packed it, I'm glad it wasn't left in the room as in the trash it would be... Sorry! So it's safe and sound here in Denver. If you would send me the address of were it needs to be shipped and the owners name, I would be more than happy to do so at my expense... Thanks, John(onecatnodog)Collins

Thanks you so much for saving the banner. Looks like Marc has purchased one on your behalf. We figured the wedding party had something to do with the banner being taken down as it was that night. I guess indirectly we were correct. I will find out if Zack is now going to send the new banner to the person who purchased it. Turns out the lady ( I use this term loosely) was the mother of the bride and was a problem for the hotel from the minute she hit the front door. I will send you a PM later after I speak with Zack.

John,

Hang on to the banner you rescued...I'll send the other one to the original purchaser.

I guess Keving "Stone Cold" should have put a little more effort into Wedding Crashing now that we know what a pain the bride's mom was! The bride wasn't very pleasant either...we saw her in the lobby and stopped to congratulate her. She made it very clear that our group had prevented her group from staying at the hotel overnight.

Sounds like some poor guy married into the wrong family!

Adding my troubles...
Coming home, Brad and I were behind some truckers and some small rocks started flying at us. I had my top down and ducked my head just as one of the rocks pelted me on top of the head. OUCH! Then south of Dallas, I got caught behind a convoy. The car hauler in front of me ran offroad on a curve and the rocks started flying again. These were bigger ones than before. Top was up but I heard a couple smack the car pretty good. Haven't had a chance to look over or clean the car but a quick scan of driver side only showed dirt. I too had some water in my weekender on the way up. I know that was at least in part due to a water bottle leak. Was a little water in there after the trip. I guess I need to check the seals myself. And last but not least, someone hit my left rear bumper on one of the runs. I always backed in at the hotel and most everywhere else. The few times I didn't, I payed for it. Don't know if it was another Prowler, or someone else, but after showing it to someone else, they felt that the bumper match to the damage looked like it was another Prowler.

Looks likes Gordon and Annie Karns not only bent the front wheel rim but also the rear wheel rim as well. Must have been that same pot hole on I50 into Tulsa. Memorial Drive was also a very rough road. So another bent wheel gets added to the casualty list.

The front splash guards took a beating in that storm on Monday. Apparently running in 8 inch deep water bends them back pretty bad and lost much of the paint on them. Oh well 6 weeks to repair for MoTown. Also had to retighten the 45 degree angle struts in the back, both had loosened from the smooth roads in the Tulsa area.
