I have many older cars. not sure muck of my collection is RARE. couple of toy fair, Target car, Puddle, the white lightning of my car is probable the most rare car I have. I started collecting before the car was built. In the beginning Matchbox had a Premiere series. I think I have all of them, they are 1 of 25,000 but don't know how many are left, since they were out before most collectors started buying them. I picked up some silver Prowlers at Big Lots and some Howlers at TSC last week. I don't look much anymore. Too many toys. I also have some articles in the trade magazines from before they were built. I worked at a small auto manufacturer during the early to late 90's. I would look thru all the magazines and keep all the ones that have anything Prowler in it. I have tried to get a record of all the cars I have and we never seem to get all the way thru before we quit. I have LOTS of extra cars and at some point I plan on getting rid of the extra stuff. We are thinking of changing the caqrpet in my room so the collection will need to be moved, maybe then we can get list and come of with list of extra stuff.stay tuned. |

Larry, I also have all the Matchbox Premier Series cars. They still often are posted on Ebay. I also believe I have all the Johnny Lightning White Lightning cars including one of your car. My collection is also not just die cast and/or plastic Prowlers. I also collect brochures, magazines with Prowler articles, T-Shirts, Jackets , Hats and other clothing articles, Owners manuals, a hood badge collection in a display case and much much more misc stuff. I have the blue Prowler with orange flames and bumpers you described and some other older ones. I will post more pictures later. I would love to see your collection some day. I call first dibbs on any extras you may be selling This message has been edited by BeWare on 11-20-2006 at 09:21 AM |

Like Larry and Rich I have a rather large collection of Prowler diecasts (I've lost count!). In addition, lot of other memorabilia and media which includes over 100 magazines, etc. with Prowler covers and articles. Also four large binders with other media and company info on Prowler. Mini purple prowlers and a mini pond Prowler

These are fairly recent 1/18th releases. The top picture in chrome yellow is already an fairly rare Prowler. I posted both pictures so you can see the difference. The photo of the chrome yellow does not do it justice. I have just been informed via PM that this is extremely rare. This message has been edited by BeWare on 11-21-2006 at 07:23 PM |

You have to forgive Ed... His memory isn't what it used to be. Ed is thinking of this other thread started by BeWare from the "Prowler Collectibles, Merchandise and Apparel" forum: |

The pictures aren't great, but this is my favorite model because it is 1 of 1, it is a Texas themed 1997 Prowler and I bought my 1997 Prowler in San Antonio. This one has to be my favorite! I'll post better pictures when I can get them... |
