This is one Jay received from our daughter who had it made during her tour of duty in the Middle East last year.

Close up view...

This was produced via a photo taken when Jay received the YELLER CAT for Father's Day 2000. This .jpg image was eMailed to our daughter and the rest was magic!!!

This is really a unique, one-of-a-kind keepsake every Prowler Owner should want.

Nancy, Yes they are incredible, like that one of Mr. FUN FUN FUN.

Where these that i've got planned should be different is that instead of 2 dimmensional like from a photo, they'll be 3-D, so that you can see from the top, sides, width, etc. Like a mini-prowler encased in Crystal.

I'll let you all know when I get some updates. Tell Jay Howdy (I'll be in touch with him soon as I get back from Egypt, need a chrome "cat wings" shimmer for my trunk)

My vote is bumpers on and top down as well.

A couple things on the model tho... does it have the side mirrors on it? Some of the small madels don't. And some of the smaller models show the fenders connected to the body. Not a true representation of the prowler. May as well get-r-done right if getting it done at all. JMO.

Judy sent me the model. For you model people it's a Eagle's Race Legend Series 1:43 die cast model. It looks very detailed with side view mirrors, bumpers, fenders, even the tach behind the steering wheel. Maybe I should modify it like mine and take off the bumpers, remove the sun visors, and make the doors lambo - LOL (yes that detailed, has the sun visors). Will keep everyone posted

The one I had made with my kids is a 3-D image and it is very cool. If you look at it from the backside and move it, it looks like the faces are following you. Kind of like the Haunted Mansion at Disney World/Land.

They made it by doing a scan of them sitting very still. I would think it would be the same for a model Prowler.

BTW, I would think $20 is way too low for a crystal one. I paid over a $100 for mine. I know they can be made in plastic cubes as well using a similar laser process, and that material keeps the price lower.

However, in volume, and with the same figure inside, maybe they can be cheaper. The neat thing is that since it is computer controlled, they can be customized with names etc. like Jay's.

Kevin, yeah, like I said, no clue on the price I am simply guessing right now. And NO PLASTICS - I want true 30% lead crystal. And yeah, with the customizing, I know they can do that, not sure of extra cost involved, but for sure I know that can be done.

Was in Sam's on Sat. & they had a display of something along these lines done from your photo.

Too much of a rush to spend any time seeing what the real thing was there.

I've sold the standard design ones that are cut with two French lasers. Their cost in lead crystal Was <$10. (Definititely Not Swarowski)

I have a piece of equipment to reproduce a photo onto a metal plate, usually gold. Looks almost like a hologram.

I'll have to take some time and make one of the Prowler to post here. I just stay so busy, can't promise when that'll be.

Could someone please e-mail me the word "Prowler" in it's font, so I can ask about them putting this on front of the crystal? Thanks
