Got an e mail from John. He is meeting up with Howard in Valencia Monday to measure etc.. Howard's location is much coloser to him then I am. Hopefully one of them will post on the progress after they hook up.

I've always wanted a cover, but, frankly, this one doesn't look very good (although I'm sure it works great).

A few issues ago in the magazine, "Old Skool Rods", there was a lady who made custom vinyl covers that were cut out in a flame pattern along the edges. There were several pix, but I need to locate the issue. Maybe someone else has seen this. I just think it is a better look.

If I can find the info, I'll post it...maybe it is another alternative, especially if it was a multiple order.

Just a thought...I was going to try and get one in time for summer, anyway, so this thread was timely, and thought I'd post.
