I have just got back from seeing Larry Lord and it has been decided that he will fabricate the new Front Frame Cover for me. They will be made of 18 gauge steel and powder coated in flat or simi gloss black. The price will be $34.95. I hope to have them available by the end of next month. You will not be able to purchase them from Larry Lord. They are my design and he is fabricating them for me only. ------------------ |

I now have the new Front Frame Covers available for shipment. The price is $34.95 plus shipping. Thanks Larry for the quick production time and great quality. This item should work with any of the after market grills. ------------------ |

I like it a lot, Gary E. I also like the diamond grill (painted not chrome). We drive our Prowler so infrequently, however, that often we need to jump-start it the first time after several weeks of non-use. Isn't your new cover a bit of a hindrance for gaining access to the battery? Not to mention checking the water? Wouldn't both grill AND new cover hafta be removed to gain battery access? The new part covers the lower front frame, and does not cover the battery. It does have a slight upswing at the battery to block the view through the grill. The new part would not affect connecting a jumper cable to the battery. I do not know of any way that it would get in the way of adding water to the radiator. I f there are any other question please let me know. ------------------ |

Gary E--I'm by no means a Rocket Scientist, but I do have a couple of degrees, and if you are going to restrict the air flow like that with that thing for the sake of appearance, then I highly suggest that you trailer your car or drive it in the winter months only. Just my 2cents worth. I cannot actually believe that some of the people are actually saying that this is fine and does not restrict the airflow. Sorry but I have to say NO-WAY |

Prowl 36 - I appreciate everyone's comments on our products. While I do not want to compare your degrees to mine, I would suggest that you look at the Front Frame Cover closer. It covers the lower frame only, and does not restrict air flow through the radiator in any way. We have been fabricating products for the Prowler since 1999 and have prided ourselves on our quality and application. If at anytime someone who purchases this new product is not happy with it I will refund the total purchase price. It is obvious that we did not make this new product to get rich, $34.95 each, but only to improve appearance, while not affecting the performance . ------------------ |

Gary, I realize you have been fabricating some very nice parts. Love some of them. I also did look closely at the different ways in which airflow enters the front of the vehicle, and came to the conclusion that putting anyting there wheither it is directly in front of the grill or not, air still circulates through from underneath the car as well. JMO Even if it might raise the temperature a couple of degrees, it's not for me. And I would never suggest that you would get rich off of a piece of metal that you have maybe 3 dollars into, and selling it for that price times a possible 11,000=$351,450.00 JUST KIDDING |

Gary, just visited your website and that chrome diamond grill looks nice, something I'm going to think about for the future. Have you thought about possibly using that grill material as an insert with the chrome headrests ?? I'd be very intersted in that look. Heck, I think I'm going to need a whole "chrome package" from you with the headrests, suspension, and grill. So what you think about that headrest idea? |

At this time I do not think I want to pursue the idea. It would be a big problem matching the grill to the headrest covers and the demand is not there. ------------------ |
