Looking through the names that purchased Maisto cars in the past brought back a lot of names that I haven't seen in a long time. Some have sold their cars, others may have lost interest. So the question is, how do we encourage those still around that became afraid to post back in the game. There have been comments about the missing chat room. Who has some ideas? Most everyone is cooped up for the winter. This would be a good time to say hello, come back and visit. |

Good point Bob! Mike and Tony have all the email addresses: >>> why not a letter composed and sent out,,,, to encourage every registered member to revisit our website, see what's going on in the Prowler world, ask any mechanical/technical questions they might have,,,and to get reacquainted with the Prowler community that misses their involvement in the POA website. We need everyone's involvement to continually move forward each year. Next idea, |

quote: Lance - No way,,,Scott is still 47 years older than I. Only Ed and Dave Mills are approaching the age of Scott Sterns! See my other post? We are coming to Tulsa this summer! That STARFLAME dude was a real car nut. Even when you priced him a new Prowler under cost,,,,,he thought you were still making thousands, lol. He departed us finally, after he bought up all the available Prowler t-shirts he could find,,,,,,,,,,,,closest he'll ever get to owning a Prowler I'd guess |

Well Boyz....... I kinda thought that my posts were not to novel anymore. Now that I am 119 years old I pay particular attention to uses of my time as I probably don't have too much left. I still have my Prowler and, thanks to a recent giblet transplant, I have a new gizzard as well as a new lease on life. I do miss Potato Latke, Marty, Mr. and Mrs. "C" Note as well as Mr. Kat, Gary C and all of the old timers. The board has evolved into a different set of people with different needs and topics that makes some of us old timers obsolete. This is still the best board on the Internet and I do still view the posts quite often but unless you follow the previous posts, my kind of humor would seem silly to the new people. When we first started, we had novel cars that solicited strange responses (Home Depot Chicks etc.), and we all shared an excitement for the breed that today is different. Our cars are far more commonplace in terms of being seen and they are not nearly as novel so the experiences are not as unique as they were in the beginning. In my traditional fashion, I have gotta run as Sea Hunt is on and they also are showing a marathon session of Cisco Kid on the Discovery Channel. Dew Drop just finished ah simmering me a Hungry Man apple strudel to finish off my TV dinner and I am looking forward to a romp on the beach tomorrow. Some things never change and hello to the old gang.... The Old Man |

Laddie Roussel. He brought the idea of painted bras to many owners. I think he was the first or one of the first to have a painted plenum. Great guy. |
