I think this would be a great event. I am in!

CJ - I was talking about the 97 model year that I thought production started in late 1996 so we could celebrate 10 years of prodcution in 2006 but since that didn't happen we'll have to wait until 2007. It will be worth the wait to do it at the correct time.

I hope you read my earlier response about this and realize I was only kidding:

"Just so you know - I was only kidding around. I sure hope nobody thinks I believe the Chrysler Prowlers are somehow inferior to the Plymouths."

I REALLY did not mean to strike a cord in the Chrysler Prowler Owners. I did not realize you all were sensitive about your cars being Chrylers and not Plymouths. To me - they are all Prowlers - period. Sorry my commments upset some people.

No offence taken or inferred. Never thought you would want to exclude any Prowler !!

As a former owner of 2 '57 Plymouths, a Belvedere and a Fury, I would love to see this one dug up. This would be a really fun trip. I'm in.

Who are they going to raffle it off to once it's dug up?

My darling AC, it's not the miles that are in question (we bought these cars to drive - right?) but the days that it would take to drive those miles. No sooner would I arrive then I would have to turn around and head back. That doesn't allow me any time to take you up on your offer. I am also worried that after you got done with me, my good friend Ed wouldn't be the only half-a$$ed person running around Luv ya!

Normally, that would of been correct, but because of the problems production was very late! I don't think there will be much interest or participation in a 10 year anniversary thing. It's difficult for most people to make one big event a year, let alone two. I would have to be a fairly large group participation for DC to be encourage to get involved. Maybe 15 yr.?

Thank you for all of your responses. A quick count shows 69 Prowler owners either interested and/or attending. So I guess its time for me to get busy. Anyone attending the Dells that have planned an event that can give me some pointers or suggestions, I am all ears. I will be in touch with the folks who have volunteered and a special thanks you for the members who have already made some contact. My first plan of action is to find lodging and reserve a block of rooms.

Just a side note...2007 is the Centenial celebration of Oklahoma becoming a state...so there are numerous events and attractions planned for that year. I will put together a list of things to do in Oklahoma City for those interested in stopping there before or after the Tulsa event.

We could actually plan a one day cruise from Tulsa to OKC to see some sights there as well. It's only a 90 minute drive from Tulsa.
