I would like to see a photo of the painted mud flaps. I do like the photos of the painted bumpers, I've never seen them live though.

I would leave them off and put the clear 3 M rock protector on in place of them.

Mine were painted when the graphics added, 20,000 miles and they have only a few chips in them. I was very surprised at how well the paint has held up on them

It is LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!!

My initial thought was to put them back on in black, but the suggestion of leaving them off and then putting them on later if you want does make sense.

OFF gets my vote. I would like to take mine off after seeing the two silver Kats posted here.
Is it really only necessary to heat them up and peel them off? I could just see a big sticky mess underneith them after heating up!
Real Hot Rods don't have plastic protectors anywhere. Some Streetrods run around with bra's etc., I have always hated that look!

ON & BLACK.

With them off there is alot of Orange shown. I prefer the break up of the Orange with the Black. It ties the Front grill screens in along with the tires & interior leather/carpet inside to make it the ultimate choice of colors.

On and Black. I like the color contrast and the tie into other black parts of the car.

With the black mesh on the grill, I would vote for on and black.

Are you going to loss the bumpers?

TUIB,

On and Black

Not only will they look nice but like others have mentioned, it gives a nice color break. Cool part about these protectors is that they can be replaced with out having to repaint. Damn I hate rock chips!!!

On a Rod & Custom Car Meeting all cars are different, the prowler is a factory car, thousands were built, you have to do

My vote is for off. It's clean and pure. But the guards were put there for a reason (stond chip target). I would contemplate the clear film cause the front of the fenders just beg for stone chips.

Jan B. said use a 'heat gun' BUT,,,,,very low heat, just enough to get them off. Think I would use monafilament fishing line to lift them up and off after the needed heat reached the reach point where they become flexible.

Wow, tough question.......it looks great without them, but I'd worry about damage. Color coordinate? 3M? Leave them black and leave them on for the contrast? All viable options... glad it's not me having to decide!
