Installed mine today...well actually I paid the mechanic at the Chrysler dealership to do it for me while I went to FATZ and ate lunch! LOL! I'm happy not to have those shocks anymore. One time of having that hood fall on my head was enough! |

Rich's install pics are great! On my 2000, need to cut a hole in the underhood felt to place the hood proprod clip. Note that the hole is already in the aluminum hood, but not the hole in the felt. Next the holes for the base support of the proprod are there already and just need to screw in the screws that must be ordered separately. Now my radiator cross member does not have a hole to receive the proprod, so It fits nicely in front of the plenum. No reason to remove the shocks either. |

How about stronger/more durable shocks? WOuldn't that be the cleaner fix? regards |
