Welcome Howard, Very nice colour and extremely low miles.
I have a son with similar wishes and still considering the
idea of letting him drive it in a couple of years.

Safe miles,

Kees

Howard & kees - if the kids are responsible, let them drive the cars. It will be memory they won't forget, especailly if they know how special the car is to you.

I got my Prowler three days before my son's senior prom in 2001 and at let him drive it there. Now my 19 year daughter drives the Prowler on occassion. The only problem with her driving is she says she can't get the 0-60 MPH times down as low as I can!

Welcome Howard---First bit of advise, Watch the nose when parking near curbing. Most of us scraped it in the first day or two. Back in, if you can its very hard to judge even after a year or more. Get rid of the front bumpers, get ceramic pads, Mud flaps, ASAP. Your wife sounds like a good one. Just don't tell her you can easily spend another $10000-$20000 on Mods. I'm in for over $15000 and I still want to add custom fire paint job!

Congrats on your new ride, but I liked the Prowler better with the bumpers on!

I want to thank everyone for such a warm reception. I now know I have meet a great new family of friends.

I have already put on mud flaps, front and rear. Ceramic brake pads are next, and then off to get the ball joints replaced. This scares me a little as I have read some horror stories about the damage some people received when having the recall performed. I will personally take off the center caps before the Kat goes to the dealer, and I requested to meet the service person before he works on my car. Hope all goes well.
PS Where can I get a front end Prowler bra?

Howard..it's really refreshing to hear your thrill of new Prowler ownership. These cars are some kind of special ride. Some of us forget the lucky we are to have one of these cars and even drift down to color pettiness.

Always keep your chin up and keep the excitment of owning one of these special cars!

Post Early and Post Often...WELCOME HOWARD!

Howard - take your kat to the Fillmore Chrysler Dealership. Their Prowler Tech is Bart and he will take good care of you. He has done a few of the ball joint replacements (including mine) without any damage.

I am glad to hear you found your way to the site! Spring is coming and as soon as we can get this hard packed mud off the ground, it will make for some great cruizin' with all the green hills we have right now.

My kat has been parked for the last few months but my goal is to have it out of the garage by spring so I can enjoy it a bit
