Found this while searching for the 13 Mile and Woodward clip. NOTE that this is from 2005. LOTS of events since then. I would have to go with the top 50 by now, not top 5 or 10. One thing that remains the same. We still haven't been to a bad or even average event. They have all been great, for different reasons. We intend to get back to Woodward this year and probably will go to the Smoky Mtns later this year. lol We have been to The Statue of Liberty tour, Rock N Roll HOF in Cleveland, Nova Scotia again, Rt 66 a few years ago, Las Vegas and on and on. Thanks to ALL who have put on events or helped put on events. That is what MAKES owning the car so much fun, meeting all the folks. |

They have all been good. We didn't buy ours until 05, so it appears we missed some great events. We have been to some great ones since then though. I haven't been to a bad one yet. In no order, here are some. Md Lighthouse Tours 05, 07 |

quote: Larry I agree on the 10th Anniversary event. I appreciate that you so enjoyed the Tulsa 2007 event. I learned first hand what it takes to sponsor one of these events and gained a huge respect for all that have. |

One thing I noticed in the posts that all the great ones were a long time ago, what happened in the modern age? I have only had my Prowler for three years and it looks like I missed the Prowler hay day. My first big Prowler thrill was when I bought it and had it delivered to my door on New Years EVE Dec. 31st, 2010. Woodward 2011, first event with Prowler owners, I still remember the goose bumps. NHN 20012 & 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2013. |

Most of those posts are from years ago. Just like you remember your first one as your favorite, us old folks remember our first event fondly. Like I posted, none of them have been "just average". They are all a lot of fun. The thread is really old so most of those posts are not current. |

I enjoyed the Rock N Roll H O F event much more than I would have ever anticipated. I wondered why we were spending "so much time" at the H O F. Turns out I could have stayed in there a few more hours. Then the knife factory and the great Amish food. I figured it would be a good time but it was much better than I expected. The drive out to Vegas was really a great time. Every event has been a lot of fun. |

Met Ed Monahan and Mike Gatlin at Larry Lord's Grand Canyon/Route 66 event. Ed drove his motorcycle through the snow and Mike towed his Prowler all the way from Michigan to the event. Mike lived an hour away and Ed just down in Cincinnati. Still remember pulling into the host hotel and seeing Paulie sitting out front in a lawn chair with his wrapped Prowler. Each event is special. If you've ever hosted one you'd realize how much work it is. The one common denominator is meeting people that you would have never otherwise met and the chance to make new friends. We've been blessed to be able to make friends from all over the US, Canada and around the world. |

Our first event was special because it was the first. The 2011 Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise. We went to the last three Nursing Home Nationals. Each one had their own distinction. The Rock and Roll event. The last Pigeon Forge featuring the Tail of the Dragon. The Rocky Mountain Event was wonderful. Always had a good time at every one, met new people and visited with friends I already knew, just jump in there. |
