Ray, Ed, Phil, Dave, et Al,
Next time I am over by Sams I will stop in to see if they have any left. If so, I will buy a few and post back here that I have some to distribute. Maybe I'll get lucky...
Tom

Dawn,

If your Sams has another pick one up for me and let me know how much I owe and I send you a check.

Are you and Tom going to make the Death Valley Event?

There was a 1999 version, but this one w/prowler on cover is a 2003 edition. Found it on this website but it is in Australia. Price is in Australian currency but said to be about 9% less in US dollars, but that will probably be eaten up in shipping costs.

Sue picked up this book at 1/2 price books today for $10

I have not had time to look at it but it is one BIG BOOK

she was looking for the other book in this thread and found this one.

Someone must think the picture of the Prowler helps sell stuff

We checked out a 1/2 Price Books Store tonight. No luck. We saw a "100 Years" book but not the correct one. It had the same picture of the Purple Prowler from head on, inside the book for 1998. I think it was a 2000 edition.
We did see a book about SuperBirds, Chargers, etc. If anyone wants one, I will go back and get it. I think it was $ 12.50

hi all
the wife (mall queen) was going to the mall tonight, asked her to check around for "the book"
she just got home and found the "last copy", in a "walden book store" on the discount shelf, $19.99
so i got it, and other than the 300.00 or so it cost me for her to go to the mall, the book is well worth it, at least 8 nice pictures and mini articles about the prowler
thx-----------sam

I checked two of our local Sam's Clubs today and neither one had the book.

I did, however, find a copy at the Border's book store on one of their Bargain tables. I also found two more copies on their regular shelves under Automotive, but for the full price. When I questioned them as to why the other two were not on sale, they gave me this big C&B story about the "bargain" copy coming in with a bunch of "left over" copies of books. They refused to sell me the other two at the "bargain" price.

I then visited a second Borders book store and found the exact same situation. One for the bargain price and others for the regular price.

I can't find an actual price on the book, but based on the book, the size, quality, etc. I am guessing between $35.00 - $40.00.
