My Inca Gold Prowler finally arrived today and although
it will take another 4 weeks to get it through
certification I was able to check it out and make a small
test drive with it together with my 10 year old son.
He and I loved every minute of it.
Even after owning it for about 1 hour, 2 people came
up to the garage to ask if it was for sale. Crazy really and
the fun still has to begin.

Many thanks to CJ and Bob, Bob Goetz (the air patrol and
mud flaps arrived with the car in great shape), Larry Lord
(Wonder Bar and Hinge Protectors also in great shape).
Will post pics as soon as I have the chance to make some
real " Dutch " shots.

Best regards,

Kees

Congrats kees!!

You worked hard to get your Kat and had a long wait for delivery, so I know you're excited.

My best advice would be to get out and drive it as much as you can.

Have a blast!

Kees,
That was a Wonder Bar not an Air Patrol that I sent.
Glad to hear that everything arrived in good condition. I'll bet you can't wait to have it set free. The fun is just beginning!

Kees,
Congratulation, Great!!
I am happy for you!!
I know about your fantastic feelings (exactly 1 year ago my Prowler arrived at the port of Bremerhaven, Germany).
And now the FUN starts.
This will be your first mods for the EU-registration:

Wonderful lights on the front-bumpers:

And superb fog-light and back up-light + bigger reflectors at the back:

Then you also need a EU certified-emissions attest.
With all this, look about a friendly registration-tester.
I wish you good luck (hope you are luckier the I was).

After this the really mods can start.

Greetings from Gery

Kees,

Nice color.....and Congratulations......

I had mine Inca Gold for about 7 months now and I still get compliments and surprise looks on people face when they see a rare one of a kind vehicle. Definitely, it's more limited in your world.....

Enjoy my friend.....Z..O..O...M......

Congratulations Kees!!! I know it was worth the wait. That is such a cool story with you and your son. My kids just love to ride in mine.
Post some pics the next time you stop to refuel. I know some members would cringe at this but in 5 months...I put 5,000 miles on my Purple cat. I just got it in May though. I'm sure that's why.
Have fun!!!

Hey LL, I didn't know we celibrated Thanksgiving as the date that Columbus discovered Holland. I thought it was for the Pilgrams landing at Plymouth Rock.

....Just curious, does it have to have any modifications to be street legal in Holland ????

Thanks for the history lesson Bill.
I'm not much good at history but I'm great at Thanksgiving dinner.
I mostly slept during history class if you hadn't already guessed.

Thanks all, I hope to see the majority of you in one of
the events in the US next year. (Although it will be
without my Cat).

Larry I changed the air patrol. I cannot fit 2 on but the
wonder bar will go in first thing after certification.

Gery............ thanks for posting the mod's. Does not
make me very happy. I'm currently working out a way to
avoid some of the mod's as shown on the pics by combining
some of the backlights with the bumper lights. Also the
lights on the front are not necessary for Dutch
certification or are only needed to get it through
certification and can be taken off later.

CJ ( and Bob) I cannot thank you enough for all your help.

Will post the pics after my certification process in my
scrapbook.

Best regards,

Kees Engel

You already have........and once is more than enough! We are just happy that everything came together so well! We look forward to having you attend an event next year and don't worry.....you'll find plenty of rides without your cat. Just ask Olivier!!
