Hi Everyone, dad's still in the hospital. we are waiting for results of the biospy, hopefully that will happen tomorrow. today they finally did the bone marrow test and those results arent expected back until possibly monday, we dont know if that means he is stuck there until then or not. he is in good spirits though he had a bad fever last night that knocked all the energy out of him and he's still recovering from it. I printed out the posts from the message board since he cant get to a computer, I am going to give it to him to read so he can hear all the nice things you all have to say. thanks for your thoughts and prayers. |

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6 Curtis my friend, our PRAYERS for your successful recovery. You have a supportive family to stand with you. We are challenged by the Lord everyday but He also gave us strength, determination & the will to overcome. There are a lot of positive stories of C-survivors. Well I hardly know where to start but please excuse the typos and spelling I never said I was too smart ( just read some of my past posts) last night about 6 pm I checked out of the local motel after six long days and really dont know anymore then I did then when I checked in, except that if Amanda and her mother Kathy hadnt blew up on friday and got me checked in I would not most likley be here my red cells had stoped produceing or were dieing before getting enough blood to my pea brain the white cell count was so low animic (spelling) and the platelets no action so no imumme system with out a transfusion and just meds over night got a rise in the three not buch but enough. as the days drug buy 4 doctors and still no answeres but yesterday still waiting on a bone marrow test which isnt back even today with my health watcher Kathy they sent me home for a day or two, couldnt sleep at night just in bits for fear of another fever I would catch and it would be check out time, lots of cold middle of the night showers did have a couple of really strange dreams and made my peach with god and felt very good about the outcome Amanda is the dream expert in our family, but so far am still here and the doctors still we dont know not going to lie to you they say maybe terminal of may not butwe can fix it when we know what the problem is. Ive cried a lot at night and laughed a lot in the daytime and what ever the outcome with the love of my family and my wife Im ready, and we are sure its gonna be ok as Amanda and her sisters with there mom wont let it turn out any other way. thank you all for the nice posts emails and phone call and visits with or without a prowler you will always be my friends and family see you soon curtis ------------------ |

Glad to see you posting. We are all pulling for you. Give your wife and daughter a big hug from us for getting you to see a Doctor. Being a boot wearing nurse myself, your lucky I don't live closer. You're a good inspiration on this site and our prayers are with you. Once they figure out what the exact cause is and have a treatment plan it will all work out. God Bless, Craig and Violet. |

I talked to Curtis over the weekend. He was home from the hospital as they were not going to do any testing over the weekend so it was ok to go home. He goes back today to see at least two doctors for more testing. Keep your thoughts going please. |

Curtis.......glad to hear you are somewhat better. Hang in there and don't give up on figuring out what the problem is. It took my Drs. two (yes, two) years to finally (just found out two weeks ago) diagnose my medical issue, but now that we know, we can start working on management. I found that I had to take responsibility for being persistent and not giving up. Thank God I have two wonderful Drs. who hung in there with me. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and especially pray for a speedy recovery. CJ and Bob |

Hang in there Curtis - It's great to see you on line again! Doctors are sometimes like mechanics - sometimes it takes them a while to find out what it's going to take to get you back on the road again. We here at the Sheriff's Office have been praying for you - you have a lot of family out here across the good ol' Prowlin USA! ------------------ |
