Just to let you Black Prowler owners know When I first
took a intrest in Prowlers I loved the Purple and felt
that Black was not a very appealing color, late 90's
Fast forward to 2004 when I decided to finally purchase
a Prowler, just guess what color I went for first. BLACK
It was at West County Auto Plaza, the same place I ended
up buying my 97 Purple. We could not come to a agreed
price on the black car, so I ended up buying the purple
one. They had a 99 Purple, that they offered me at the same price as the 97, however it had been hit somtime
in its life as the right door hit the decklid and the gap
to the hood and side panel on the right were too close.
They did a cafax and it showed no accidents, but since the colors did not match, hood and side panel were too light I refused to purchase that car. It is just funny how what you feel about a car or color seem to change with age or time.
Someone posted a pic of a white Prowler and as a rule I do not like white cars but I think it looked great also.
