There are two rivets on each tip. Drill them out and make sure they are totally thru the inner part. You may need to pull them out with a vise grip. Some are very tight, some aren't.

Ed's right..........exhaust systems are all a matter of preference.......not necessarily that one is better than the other. I like the Prowler Borlas because it's definitely a deeper, throatier sound than the stock mufflers, but not SO loud that it becomes obnoxious like some of the others they are talking about. I love the sound, especially when the cat is downshifting (driving in the mountains is great!), but I can still hear my music, conversation with my passenger and still have my hearing and no headaches after a day of driving!
