I am sorry to announce that after almost 13 years at this dealership I am being let go. This is the first time in 35 years that I have ever been fired. I deeply regret that I will not be able to talk with so many of you on a daily basis as I have, trying to provide you with honest parts information and great pricing. I also do not know if you call after I am gone (week to ten days) that the 10% over cost pricing will still be in effect. Again, I've had a great time with all of you. Thanks. Bruce |

Sorry to hear the news Bruce. I will call them; just to let them know I won't be buying from them anymore. People make the business and you were that person for us. If you end up at another dealership let us know. Good Luck ------------------ |

Bruce that is terrible news, you put your dealership on the map as far as we Kat owners are concerned. It was kind and generous of you to share your time as well as discounts with us. Thirteen years is a long time! While your discounts will be misssed your presence needn't be. Just log-on from your NEW and BETTER workplace! Wow thirteen years what were they thinking? The very best of luck to you and don't be a stranger. Jeff |

Bruce, What a horrible turn of events. I, too, will tell the dealership they have lost my business. Please let us know where you land. Our prayers are with you. Guy and Christine |

Bruce I was a service and parts director at a very large Dodge dealership for 16 years which is unheard of in that business and dealership was sold and I was told along w/all mangers that with new ownership we were starting over and after one year we get one week vacation etc just like we just started. They took our demos.I had two and was told we could buy or lease. There was nine people in mangement and we all walked out at same time and when that happened all service writers and eight parts counter people also left. You can not believe the uproarand begging that took place by new owners.Long story short in less than a month I had same type job with thirteen thousand per year increase in pay and reely good benfits. So keep your chin up everthing happens for a reason. |

Bruce, I sure hope your generosity in helping fellow owners played no part in management's decision to let you go. I am sorry to hear the news. I hope that you can find suitable, comparable work without having to come all the way to Milwaukee every day. Good luck! |

Bruce much like you I have been in the auto business for over 39 years now, in 01 I was fixed ops manager for an Auto Nation store when the GM (did me a favor) and let me go one night in mid june. In this trade you can always land on your feet somehow and a good parts manager or counter person is a real hard find. good luck Bruce with you knowledge I sure you will land on your feet real soon. curtis |

Bruce, as others have said - you have provided the POA community with excellent service. Your character shows that in your post you are worried about whether we will still get the 10% over cost discount after you leave. I hope you find a new position somewhere quickly. Maybe now you can post more often without it being business. Marty |

Bruce, To think...I just spoke to you last week about my blown window regulator. I am so sorry to hear the bad news. I can't wait to call up your old dealership to tell them that I too...am taking my business elsewhere!!! They can take their 10% over cost pricing that you used to give us and shove it where the sun don't shine!!! I hope everything works out for you. I'm so sorry again about this terrible situation. I'll keep you in my prayers. Brian |

Bruce - I'm deeply sorry to hear of your job loss. I was in nearly the same type of situation three years ago when the company I worked for closed their Arizona operations. Lucky for me, after 27 years I was within a few months of drawing on my retirement pension. Be aggressive in your job search,,,and if nothing locally comes about, maybe its time to move away from that frozen tundra before winter sets in. Nevada and Arizona are experiencing huge population and job increases, and this might be the right time to make the move to Prowlin' country? Thanks for all that you have done for our POA members, and best wishes and our support of whatever comes your way. Keep us posted on what transpires!!! Larry S. |

Bruce, While none of us here know the particulars involved, all I can say is "THAT STINKS". You've done alot for me personally, and the POA community in general, and the service you provided to the members has been extremely valuable. That aside, please don't go away. You've got alot more than just parts knowledge and a good $$ deal to offer. I've thoroughly enjoyed each time we've been able to get together, and look forward to that continuing in the future. |

Bruce, We are so sorry to hear your news. You did a lot for the POA community and we truly appreciated it. If there is anything the Prowler community can do for you, let us know. Having just been through something very similar recently, I will say this....sometimes one door has to close to open another. In our situation, we are fortunate that things have actually turned out better for us than they were before. We wish you luck in your job hunt and please stay in contact with the Prowler owners.
